Renowned for its moules and bieres, Belgo is an authentic Belgian restaurant in Nottingham. The decor is contemporary and relaxing, and the well-stocked bar offers a mammoth list to choose from. The food menu features treats such as Belgian sausages, Belgo's famous mussels and frites, and a wide range of meat and vegetarian dishes. Belgo also offers a dedicated children's menu, as well as pre-theatre and express menus.

Nice atmosphere-revamping of the previous tapas bar. Food mostly okay but the frites were not up to scratch if you want to compare with real Belgian ones! Beers very good albeit some v. pricey.

We had visited the Covent Garden Belgo previously and were keen to try the one in Nottingham so this was the ideal opportunity. The 3 course meal and drink offer was excellent value and the quality and portion size were of the same standard as we had come to expect from Belgo. We were heading to a 'live from the National' performance after the meal so appreciated the prompt but friendly service. Don't be put off by the size of the waffles for dessert...I thought I wouldn't be able to manage them after a starter and main but they were incredibly light and delicious. The beer list is wonderful so we'll be returning when we have more time as my boyfriend is very keen to work his way through some of the brews on offer!

We really enjoyed our meal at Belgo. The environment is a good open space with simple decor. The staff were friendly and very attentive as soon as we arrived. The food arrived quickly and was excellent in both taste and portion size. We will definately visit again. The mussels traditionale were particularly good!

This was our first time at Belgo and me and my boyfriend had booked a table to celebrate my new job. When we arrived, the place was quite busy and had a great, bustling atmosphere. We were then sat down promptly at our table (despite being 15 mins early) and given 2 glasses of prosecco to say congratulations which was lovely! Food was gorgeous, especially the lobster soup and the mussels. I loved the interior of the restaurant too, and the staff/managers seemed really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! :)
