Great food as usual, had children along this time, the kids menu was very good, both boys enjoyed the crudités and chicken dishes.
The choices of beer are fabulous, I especially like the framboise!!

Pretty average. Sat near the sir con which was chilly. The so called famous chipz were unspectacular. Mussels were ok. I had a different flavour to my wife but they all tasted the same. Packed out though so got to be doing something right.

Very nice experience. The restaurant's staples of moules and chicken were both excellent. They clearly know their stuff! Good selection of Belgian beers also.

Great entrance where you go downstairs, past the barrels and open kitchen. Nice to be greeted by someone at the bottom of the stairs. The food was excellent and my only problem was that out of our party of 8 my main course was forgotten. Also from the children's menu we never received the crudités, even though we had ordered a main starter for the kids. But we were still charged the full price.

this was the 2nd visit to Centraal with my brother. the previous time had been a wet November evening. Tonight was pleasantly dry, although London was heaving with crowds out for the Rugby World Cup qualifiers. Centraal is quite different to most other restaurants; its below street level for starters, which means: no windows, no views. No matter; its the food, the service & the beer that counts. we noted that the menu had changed, mainly in the beer dept., with a sadly reduced selection. I enjoyed my classic burger & frites plus Begian lager; my brother sent his steak back becasue it was over -cooked; he's fussy like that! Initially, they returned the steak saying 'this bits pink!' He wasnt having it - they started from scratch and cooked a fresh steak which more than made up for the initial disappointment. I will be checking out the other London branches...

We made a booking for a party of 5 for the gbp 10 deal that was on line. The offer was explained to us for what we could order.
Meal was lovely. Service was lovely.
The only downfall of the night was the payment.
The bill came and they had added on extra drinks to our bill. When we questioned this to the waitress. The answer given was that the special offer was only for a maximum number of 4 people. When I did the booking on line they never mentioned it was restricted to just 4 diners.

Food was much better 15 years ago. Now it's a shortened bar menu. My hamburger was good bUT the bun didn't hold up at all. It soaked up the sauces and disintegrated. Waiters were nice.
