Quirky interior and really buzzy atmosphere. We had a fun waiter so ensured us we would be out in an hour before our theatre show. He didn't disappoint and the food was fabulous. The Lobster Bisque was delicious.

Belgo Centraal in Covent Garden offers a welcoming retreat, just 2 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station. Housed within a stylish, converted warehouse, there’s a comfortable, authentic atmosphere.

Uncomplicated yet delicious Belgian delicacies are served on the Belgo menu. Favourites include parma ham with celeriac remoulade, wild boar sausages with Belgian stoemp mash and berry jus, or there’s always the house favourite − mussels with cream, white wine and garlic. Belgo also offers a dedicated children's menu, as well as pre-theatre and express menus.

The Belgo restaurant drinks menu offers one of the largest selections of Belgian beers in the UK. As well as renowned beers brewed by monks within Trappist monasteries, there’s also a range of tasty fruit brews and blonde ales. The dessert menu at Belgo London offers decadent treats such as Brussels-style waffles, and a Belgian chocolate bread and butter pudding.

Within a fashionable area of London, Belgo Centraal serves hearty and flavoursome Belgian cuisine in a vibrant, informal setting.

Good meal and service, however not the best venue for a hot sunny day as it is in the basement and the air conditioning could be better. Would definitely return but on a cooler day.

Food was excellent as always however the service was very slow. We said we were in a rush to the theatre but this didn't speed anything up. This was at lunch time and off the set menu. The service charge is added to the bill which is fine but we had to ask for our change back over the bill + service charge which was disappointing that I had to ask for it as the service charge was paid in full.

The service was quite poor. Had to ask for water 3 times. When the food arrived they'd forgotten to bring out one of mains but didn't even notice. We thought the waiter was heading back into the kitchen to bring out the remainder of the food but it never arrived and the waiter had to be called over to be told that not everyone at our table had revived their mains.

I've come to Belgo several times and I went for the 3 course set menu. The cheesy beer croquettes were delicious, and I had the mussels for mains which is my favourite here. You must try it if you haven't! Really lovely atmosphere and the service was excellent, food came out in good time. Staff were really friendly.

Had a lovely meal here on Friday night. Friendly service and didn't feel rushed at all. The mussels were some of the nicest we have had ( I had the Thai ones and they were my favourite) and the fries were crispy and tasty. Cant wait to come back!
