Amazing...!!! And affordable.

With an inviting glass façade, chefs at Beijing Dumpling create Chinese food in full view of the bustle outside. In the heart of Chinatown, traditional dishes contrast with modern décor to form a vibrant, authentic restaurant.
The Beijing Dumpling menu offers traditional starters like satay chicken, and crispy duck with pancakes, as well as a house speciality befitting of the restaurant’s name: a range of meat, fish and vegetarian dumplings. Aromatic mains include chicken with cashew nuts, pepper salted pork chops and braised bean curd with Chinese mushrooms.
Classic noodle and rice dishes are on offer, as well as the enticing Indonesian-style fried rice and Malaysian-style fried ho fun. Even the drinks menu is exotic, with traditional Chinese teas being joined by a fresh soya bean drink and a sugar cane root drink. The décor is modern, the large glass windows revealing the wooden-panelled walls and ambient low lighting behind.
Beijing Dumpling in London is a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Great atmosphere and food to die for. The Garlic Chicken is the best. King Prawn fried rice is a winner too.

The dumplings were delicious - especially the ones with the hot broth inside.
The crispy duck also delicious - very generous portions.
However, sadly the crispy shell salt and pepper crab was not so good. So much thick batter, it could have been anything inside.
Prawns with cashew nuts was glutenous nothing special.
The green beans were delicious.
Busy restaurant, attentive staff even though they aren't very friendly.
I give it 2.5 stars

The food was excellent and the portions large for us. It was a shame that our Dim Sum platter - the starter - appeared after one of the mains and at the same time as the other main dish. Downstairs tucked in a corner was a good place to escape the rain and the bustle of Chinatown.

LOVE Beijing Dumpling. best dumplings I've had in London. Will keep going back. Don't understand why people go and order the more mainstream dishes instead of dumplings!

Went for a birthday celebration with a large group of friends. Quality food and service, very accommodating in spite of us being late for our reservation, and very good value.
