Where to start? The cellar did not host a 10 year Beaujolais Nouveau, and the house vin rouge had been a stranger to any chilling device. Do not even get me started on the state of the sugarally watter! Shockers all round. The only redeeming feature was the predominance of female staff. As my companions sagely observed:" all these dishes will not wash themselves."

Very nice meal howvet the Sunday chicken roast was 2pieces of chicken one breast and one leg and these were very bony without much meat. The steak was ordered as medium rare however was completely raw in the middle and some had to be left . Overall nice meal.

I go quite a lot to Lady Nairne but last night it was awful. The service was bad my friend and i got steaks they were not cooked to how we ask and if i heard it once i heard them say over and over that they were busy... I have seen it busier and the staff have coped better. Also the waiter came to take my friends plate away and she had not finished. I was let down last night.
