A delightful little afternoon tea - the staff and service excelled - we were very impressed with the overall experience, perfectly executed by wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff - despite being late for the booking we were made to feel that this really wasn't an issue - we loved the unusual brioche sandwiches, something different to the usual cream cheese and cucumber fingers! The whole thing was great and such value for money - brilliant!

What a lovely cosy little cafe where the staff are extremely attentive and the afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious with the scones cream and jam being outstanding beautifully fresh and still warm in the middle. Staff were checking on us regularly but not overly intrusive, happy to bring more tea and cater to our dietary requirements which seemed no trouble. This was a treat for a friend who had travelled a long distance for the day and it made it really special, will be popping in regularly from now on for my morning coffee and pastry

Booking was very easy. The afternoon tea was nicely presented and there was a wide range of sandwiches and treats. They re-worked it for us to ensure all the sandwiches were vegetarian which we really appreciated. My favourite was the hummus and avocado. The bread was a briochey type - very unusual for sandwiches and it worked delightfully. Service was great and they topped up our teapots for us. Would definitely recommend.

Choice of cakes was disappointing. Banana Loaf Cake was dry. Service, although friendly, was amateurish. Overall though staff were likeable and welcoming. There is work to do here.

Service was excellent. Cakes were good but would not go acknowledge because both my gluten free bread and my Daughter 's wheat bread (for sandwiches) was stale, dry and corners turning up.

It was lovely. Amazing scones, great flavors and varieties of sandwiches and treats. Really too much food for tea, but they boxed up what we didn't finish and it made a perfect dessert for later.

Lovely experience. I would recommend that the staff make diners aware that they can just have a (extremely delicious) slice of cake etc.and don't have to go for the full 'afternoon tea' options. It's a lovely, cosy place with a great atmosphere.
