It was everything I had expected and so much more. The staff was as wonderful as the dishes. The best of the dishes was accordingly to my company the salmon or the avocado sandwiches. And the surprise of the day was the flying snow tea, it had a very piquant taste but the main experience was the little show it performed.

Am a frequent 'eater' at bbar and thoroughly enjoy the restaurant. Am very sad (as are friends) that you no longer serve the cobb salad. Yesterday - for the first time - the bbq chicken salad was too spicy - and the waiter was not intetested in the comment. Bit disappointing ...

Friendly staff. Good wine list. Great position for lunch after a trip to Buckingham Palace.

I have eaten at BBar twice before, both times around 5 years ago. I recall a number of heavily African-influenced dishes on the menu. Alas, this time, to our disappointment, there was very little on offer with an African theme. This was our main reason for going there. I do not understand why an "African" restaurant would not concentrate on African dishes. I won't go back unless the menu improves.

Welcoming, attentive staff. Small but adequate pre theatre menu. Good fish pie and excellent sticky toffee pudding!

Love going to this bar, lovely food, friendly staff and a nice wine list. The Bouchard FInlayson Hannibal is my favourite (£50). Make sure you try the Bobotie Spring rolls and any of the burgers are fantastic!
