What a delicious pre-theatre dinner I had last night. The lamb was succulent, the aubergine purée and crispy lamb skin was mouth watering. the meat and cheese tapas board could have had more of a selection of cheese on it, however it was quite tasty. The service was fantastic, I believe Kyle was our waiter, he was very informative, and was helpful in deciding what starter to have and also, he knew everything on the menu. We were well informed about some things on the lamb dish. After the theatre my daughter in law and I returned back for a glass of wine, where we were greeted once again by Kyle, who was very friendly asking how we enjoyed the show. I will definitely return to the restaurant in the near future.

Service was great, it's not really in the best part of town but it's fine once your inside, nice decor. We were put in a small area where there were 3 tables for 2 and we were all a bit close and it felt a bit awkward. Would rather have been in the main area which had more atmosphere. Black bomber creme brûlée portion was nice but a bit small. Smoked prawns starter was tasty but not earth-shattering. Pork mains generous but skin on pork wasn't crispy. Lamb mains tasted lovely but could have done with twice the amount. Not really feeling full we ordered the cheeseboard which was very generous with great cheeses but could have done with some grapes or something for a different texture. I think we'd definitely go back but try the bar menu instead next time.

Me and my boyfriend come here a few times a month and always have the sirloin steak ???????????? Staff are always lovely, the only thing I would say is having a non roasted selection of veg such as carrots broccoli things like that will work so much better as neither of us are keen on the whole roasted veg we pay £3 just for the carrots we did ask can we just have them but was told it comes in a selection otherwise hats off to the chef ????????
