Great location, wonderful light. Weird purple chairs. Service A-OK. Not great wine selection by the glass (mostly New World wines). Great beet appetizer. Seared sashimi-grade tuna was more like charred. Melted chocolate dessert disappointing.

We enjoyed it very much. Relaxed atmosphere, good food, good wine.

I don't feel the quality of the food or service justified the expense of it. The acoustics int he glass box were awful. Having dined there at Christmas, I was disappointed to see that the menu had not changed in the slightest for the new season.

Booking, food and speed good except when getting the bill wherein had to ask 3 times and it took 25 minutes . I was not greeted front of house as normal and there was no one at the restaurant end after the radio call song had to go back up the long corridor to find someone . Clearly a busy lunchtime.

Very plesant restaurant, love the conservatoire. The starter was better then the main, but the quick lunch menu is a good value and very nice.

Return visit as a treat to celebrate getting married, we'd previously visited for my 30th birthday where we'd had a private dining experience and love the ambience of this restaurant.

The food was fantastic as we expected. I always order the chicken skewers for a starter as they never disappoint (the starter menu has a large fish presence which I don't eat). We treated ourselves to the Tomahawk steak to share, it was delicious and a good size for us where hubby likes a hearty portion! The side salad was more of a garnish to be fair, in hindsight I would probably order vegetables...

    Wine was also very tasty

We were quite surprised it was relatively quiet. Despite this the staff seemed run off their feet when we first arrived, but the attentiveness markedly improved after we finally ordered. Also the quietness of the restaurant turned out to be a real plus as we were not rushed at all and whiled away a very pleasant and relaxing evening.

Would definitely recommend Bank, and also the other Individual restaurants. I have a loyalty card and I do rate the scheme, the points I've accrued have enabled us to pay for almost all last night's dinner incl. the wine!

    Excellent food and service

Great food and lovely décor. The only issue would be that we often had to wait quite a while for our drinks. I had the chicken skewers for starter and crispy duck for main and both were brilliant. The salted caramel ice cream for dessert was delicious as well
