Fab service, beautiful food, a delightful evening. Sat at the back overlooking the waterfront, very nice!

The food over all was amazing

However table was originally booked for 7 which we changed to 7.45.
We got to the restaurant at 7.40 and they said table will be ready at 8.
We did not get seated until 8.20 after asking when we have not yet been put to our tables baring in mind the restaurant was not even busy.

We finally say down at the dinner table having to wait an extra 15-20 mins to get served for a drink, there was plenty of waiters which seemed to only be interested in larger sized tables.

This was my first visit to Bank in Birmingham and what a delight it turned out to be. if you are looking to push the boat out or celebrate a special occasion then this is the place to visit. I cannot find anything that was not first rate from the food ,service or atmosphere here. We sat overlooking the canal and were looked after so well by the staff. We shall be returning here next time we visit Birmingham. I would recommend the scallops as a starter and the rib eye steak was the most tender and succulent I have ever tasted.

This restaurant is fantastic, the staff's service is impecccable with a wide choice of wines. I couldn't compliment the chef anymore for the fantastic food. The setting on the canal was perfect for my partner and I as it was our 2nd anniversary, my only gripe is I don't live closer as I would be here more often.

Food fair but I would never eat here again as there was a DJ in the dining space and you could not hear yourself think!

Overall, quite average food and dining experience. My £30 rib-eye steak had to be returned as it was inedible...so full of chewy fat and gristle, quite unpleasant. Although, they did knock this money from our bill.

I love the outdoor terrace, the great food and the chic but laid back atmosphere in the restaurant and the excellent service. I also love that there are romantic couples, family groups, adult friend groups and all are welcomed and feel comfortable.

A Lovely Experience, Thank you! I had been at a late meeting in Birmingham which made it inpractical for me to fly home, hence I was dining alone. I have been in this situation before and in other venues, I have sometimes felt a bit 'Billy-No-Mates' and somehow neglected service-wise. I don't think this has ever been intentional, but on a busy Friday evening, waiting staff have a lot to do and larger parties can occupy a lot of their time. This was certainly NOT the case here. Great, friendly service from start to finish. The meal was gorgeous - Beef Carpaccio with chunky-cut beetroot and horseradish dressing to start. I opted for a small plate of Smoked Haddock Risotto with a side of Charred Sweet Potato. Again, delicious and a surprisingly good combinantion. Wines superb and the whole thing very good value at just over £40. The room itself is very cosy. Dimly-lit with a very woody and Colonial feel. Great atmosphere too. I'm hoping to return on my next trip to Brum. Missing you already!
