Recommended by the Guardian, Bangkok Café summons excellent Thai cuisine to Cardiff through a perfected blend of Thai herbs and spices. Complete with a chic bar area, Bangkok Thai restaurant also flaunts an electrifying décor.

The Bangkok Café noodles, with prawns, squid, pak choi, baby corn, spring onions and a hint of curry, are also a flavourful favourite.

Bit too much batter on some items. Beer overpriced for size of bottle - was expecting 500ml. Got one order wrong but quickly rectified so no problem. Nice flavours in main dish I had though.

The food and service was great. We had the calamari and satay as a starter and then number 27 the spicy duck with red curry. The flavours were fantastic and enjoyable.
We had a lovely time!
Price was reasonable. I would recommend the restaurant to friends and family for sure as I have been many times before and standard has always been the same!

Always love coming here, worth booking for a Saturday night as always busy. Food excellent, particularly the Thai green curry and the Bangkok cafe noodles. Will be coming back soon

Ver good food with vibrant Thai flavours. A wide range of dishes for all, several of our group have visited Thailand though not me. Excellent friendly service, swift without being in any way pushy that enabled us to dine comfortably before going to Wales v Irelad rugby.

Slow and inattentive service. Starters flavourless as was green curry. Stir fried chicken very spicy but no depth. Mushroom soup had no mushrooms! We won't be back.
