Winning acclaim from Time Out and the Evening Standard, Baltic Restaurant & Bar serves an array of Eastern European cuisine in a stunning contemporary setting. Offering live jazz on Sundays, the Baltic Bar prepares its own naturally infused flavoured vodka.

The Baltic Restaurant & Bar menu boasts all of the bold, exciting flavours that cuisine from the east of Europe is famous for. Crab and crayfish salad with kohlrabi and apple offers an eclectic blend of flavours, while Baltic mains include the tangy goose leg with beetroot, spring onion and redcurrant. Vegetarian dishes are also available at Baltic Restaurant.

Light bites like potato pancakes and blinis are served at the Amber Bar at Baltic Restaurant & Bar London. The speciality here is vodka infused with flavours ranging from honey to plum brandy. There is also an excellent wine list and range of bespoke Baltic cocktails.

Sleek, modern and eclectic, Baltic Restaurant & Bar South Bank sits just opposite Blackfriars Tube Station.

I booked this restaurant after entering 'restaurants near the Old Vic' in TA. We chose this one as the menu seemed interesting. We were not disappointed. From the outside the place doesn't look that special or that big but there is a huge extension at the back which is the light and airy restaurant. We ate from the pre theatre menu and both starters were delicious - chicken salad and Jewish fish. My duck leg was exquisite and my husband wolfed down his fish cake. We both thought the chips we ordered as an extra were some of the best we'd had - soooo easy to get chips wrong. I had no room for pudding but someone found room for the white choc cheesecake - I had a fork full and it was smooth and creamy.
The staff are plentiful and all, without exception, very very pleasant and they have a good system of ensuring that all staff cover all areas so service was very timely. Oh and the apple and ginger vodka martini - yum yum!!

I was pleased and surprised to find such a professional and well run establishment. The staff were polite, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The food was excellent, the variety of choices means I will be making a return visit very soon.

Great Blinis. Great Vodka. Unusual but good East European food.

The service was very professional but the food was disappointing. Far too much and odd combinations. Has quite a cold feel and from the outside it looks closed! But looking at past reviews, it appears most other people don't agree. Maybe I just chose badly.

This was supposedly a pre theatre dinner. No food arrived following a 35 minute wait. No bread offered and no apology. Then we had to chase fot the main in order to get out in time and by the allocated slot. Yes they even phone you beforehand to tell you that you only have 1 1/2 hours then dont bri g the food to eat. Stressful and makes you very angry. Then have the audacity to add service charge. We wnont be going back. Plenty of choice in this area.

This was our first time at Baltic and we loved it. We had ed the London Restaurant Festival menu which was first class and amazing value for money. We had the best blinis and smoked salmon that we had ever had. The main course (hake with wild mushrooms) was out of this world. The service was very friendly and efficient. We will come back soon for dinner and music when the restaurant is a bit more lively than a Monday lunchtime.
