Good decor, a/con a bit cold, good service and excellent place to talk I disturbed with friends. Food middling.

Lunch menu is good value - £10.95 for any main course and a drink. The waitress however did not at all understand that we wanted wine as part of the lunch menu deal and so brought us 2 lemonades instead. It took about 15 minutes in an empty restaurant to get her attention so we were simply happy to order.
The food was good for the price though - chicken papardelle with mushroom & spinach in a creamy white wine sauce. Good portion size for lunch and some nice flavour

The food was wine, and the wine very pleasant. The service was good at first, but the gap between starter and main was pushing the limits of patience. Once we had said we would like to get the bill we had to wait 15 minutes, and then a further 5+ to have the credit card machine brought to the table (why is this still a surprise to waiting staff? Hardly anyone pays cash, but getting the machine seems to be a big deal!). It was only 7.30, the restaurant was not full, and we could see 3 or 4 hostesses chatting - so they weren't rushed off their feet.

Service very good and food delightful. One downside though, either there was no heating on or the air-conditioning was directioned down, because it was quite cold in the restaurant and therefore, made our visit brief.

In the central bit rather than near the front entrance so great ambience there. Service very friendly and attentive. Food enjoyable and good value. I always find fixed service charge at 12.5% for a table for 3 off-putting - I prefer restaurants with no service charge for small tables and then consciously leave a tip to reflect the quality. May well affect where I next book.

Frankly speaking I wasn't impressed at all. Food was very average - prosciutto was too thick and chew, spicy calamari or the sauce were not spicy at all. Risotto was very average too, but we made a good choice of wine, so overall it was a nice meal.
