On the night they had a refrigerator breakdown so were occupied with the repairs. The food was still excellent. But workmen were banging and werking 10 feet from out table. Some of the wine we ordered never arrived and the service level as a result of the repairs occurring suffered. I think that they should have closed that night. I would go back. They sre very nice and the food is good. The young boy serving found it hard going under the circumstances.

The food was very good. The Egyptian tea & baklava were excellent...It was one of the best baklava I have had so far. Also the live entertainment was great :)

Food was lovely with many flavours. Was only offered Valentines menu when normal menu could of been used. Service was slightly slow but did have a plus side as allowed each course to settle before more beautiful food. Overall fantastic and will dine there again.

Really friendly and lovely food (recommend the Vegetarian Meze.) It felt like the staff were a bit inexperienced and a couple of things weren't right with what we ordered (we got house wine not the Moroccan wine I wanted to try) but we were not shown the bottle label or given chance to try the wine so didn't spot it wasn't what we wanted (though thought it not great and assumed that was our fault for trying something different!) we had drunk our first glasses when we realised the error (when we went to pour more wine) so there was not point complaining - it was Pinot Grigio which I really don't like. Also Andy ordered lamb with vegetables and got lamb with prunes - neither error ruined our evening but it was just a bit disappointing.

We have used the restaurant before a number of times on our own or with family or friends and have loved it! This time using the online booking service we were not expected as they had not checked the email bookings so had to sit in a corner at the bottom of the stairs which was little cramped. The mezze was great ant the fish was as well but the lamb usually succulent was quite dry and well done. We asked for extra cutlery 3 times before it arrived having used some with the mezze. It was busy. The staff were very polite but rushed. We just did not feel the standard was as good as it used to be and were a little disappointed on this occasion. We will have to think hard about using for dinner again.
