Blending gourmet cuisine with quintessential Scandinavian design, Aveqia London offers a unique and exciting dining experience in the heart of the city. Going beyond the constraints of a normal cookery school, guests can hone their culinary skills in its state of the art kitchens and dining spaces in St Paul’s.
The seasonal Aveqia menus utilise local and organic produce wherever possible, and are designed to ensure that even the most kitchen-shy can recreate their delectable dishes themselves. Sample dishes include smoked quail with anchovy dressing, and rump of lamb, served with spring vegetable salad and lemon vinaigrette.
A menu highlight is surely the smorgasbord: a modern take on Swedish delicacies that includes mountain reindeer and pickled herring among others. A shot of Akuavits, flavoured with fennel, anise and cumin, is served alongside to complement the flavours.
Currently London’s only Swedish cooking venue, Aveqia in London sits 9 minutes’ walk from London Blackfriars and St Paul’s Tube stations.
