Booked for an 18th Birthday celebration. Staff very attentive, gave us all a glass of Prosecco even though we didn't all have the set menu and then brought biscuits and candles with a birthday message written on the plate. Lovely evening.

The elegant dining space of Avenue restaurant in London’s Green Park captures the very essence of the glamorous Manhattan. Serving up new American cuisine from its leafy location, the chic art-focused décor, with its scintillating chandeliers and contrasting colour palette, was dreamed up by designer Russell Sage.

Honing in on the buzz from the New York dining scene, the Avenue menu serves up meaty delights such as grain fed beef and Black Angus hamburgers with bacon and applewood-smoked cheddar. Or enjoy the spicy lamb cutlets with a side of baby spinach, or the scallop ceviche with caviar and truffle dressing.

Avenue is also perfect for a spot of weekend brunch in London, with a menu highlight being the buttermilk pancake stack, served with maple syrup and streaky bacon or mixed berries and crème fraiche. With unlimited Prosecco or Bloody Marys on offer, the bar at Avenue is well worth a visit.

Buzzy Manhattan-inspired cuisine in sleek surroundings , Avenue in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Green Park Tube Station.

I really enjoyed my brunch at the avenue the atmosphere is amazing. The staff were friendly, we were treated with a warm welcome and our coats were checked and the food was great. I had the burger and my girlfriend had the pancakes with bacon. I would recommend and have recommended the Avenue and I will be going back.

Mixed experience. Great Octopus starter; mushy overcooked Plaice main. Uninspired by cocktail list. However, staff were quick to make up for the bad main course but offering a complimentary item and then not charging me for the main course. Credit to them for that. My first visit since it reopened. Didn't love it but didn't hate it so would probably go back.

Good food and good atmosphere. Service was okay but could've been a bit more attentive - took a while to clear our plates after we finished courses.

It was a great restaurant. Good selection of dishes to choose from for the star deal, attentive staff without being overbearing and really nice atmosphere.

This was my second visit to the Avenue, which has changed its menu and decor since my last visit. The staff were friendly and one waiter was knowledgeable of the dessert. I went for the three-course set menu. The ham hock terrine was quite tasty but salty although I liked the zesty dressing on the leaves, the pickled veg except the cauliflower and the crunchy bread bits. The pork chop was also delicious but a bit fatty. Despite this, the potato and chorizo salad had both white and purple potatoes (which I'd never eaten in a restaurant before) and pleasantly smoky chorizo. After my starter and main, the waiter gave me the dessert menu but when he returned, I asked for the set menu so I could choose a dessert from there as part of the deal. I chose the mango jelly with vanilla panna cotta and coconut ice cream. The dessert had an attractive appearance with the jelly and panna cotta layered up and topped off with a scoop of ice cream. The ice cream had a delicate coconut flavour and while the mango jelly's texture differed from my expectations, it tasted divine and refreshing but overpowered the taste of the panna cotta. The service of my starter and main being brought to my table was quick and I was given a decent amount of space for my dessert. The bill took a little longer to arrive when asked as was the arrival of change but the collection of my payment was quicker.

Overall good food on the whole, relaxing ambience, good food service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. 4/5.
