Very good experience. Great food and service. An unhurried friendly atmosphere with a varied menu. We were celebration a birthday and the start of a new course. The place was just right for what we wanted.

Set on the bustling high street, Aubaine Wimbledon is a chic, family-friendly spot for sophisticated all-day dining. Housing a restaurant, bakery and boulangerie, there is also a secluded terrace, perfect for tranquil drinks in the sun.

The Aubaine Wimbledon menu covers all-day dining, and is bursting with French specialities. For breakfast and brunch, there are freshly-made pastries, exotic fruit cocktails, and light bites such as croque monsieur. Seasonal soup of the day sits alongside superfood salads and beef carpaccio with truffle vinaigrette, while classic French favourites include mussels with white wine, parsley and crisp fries. Sharing plates include the trio of mini burgers made with cuts of fillet steak, and rich mains feature delicacies like honey-roasted duck breast with crushed buttery parsnips.

Champagne, carefully selected world wines and classic cocktails can be found on the Aubaine London drinks menu, with bottomless prosecco brunches extremely popular. Sweet treats from the patisserie make perfect desserts, with the selection changing regularly.

A stylish escape from the bustle of the high street, Aubaine is a 12-minute walk from Wimbledon Tube Station.

Well, the evening got off to a great start. Complimentary bread and butter whilst we decide on our starter and main. My trio had went with the seasonal soup, which was made up of broccoli and potatos. A fantastic first dish of the evening, surprisingly sweet, this alone I would recommend. This is where it falls from grace. Understandably if it was a busy night I would tolerate mistakes however the venue was barely a third full of guests. The first item I ordered was a disarrano & coke, 5 minutes later we order our starter, 10 minutes later our soup shows up, midway through enjoying my starter my drink makes an appearance, Finally. Main course was sirloin steak I ordered well done and came back bloody as hell, like it was fit for a cartoon lion. My side of buttered broccoli which was under cooked also took its time.
Still enjoyed my night I spent just over £20 however they threw on a 12% fee of some sort so all together our trio spent £99 on 3 starters & mains, one side of broccoli and a drink.
What can I say? Great food if what you order ever reaches you

Dined here with my family for my wife's birthday (waiter overheard this fact). Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was well presented, skilfully cooked and tasty. Food style is French bistro. Ambience was good and I think the decor is a nice blend of traditional French and modern. The quality of the bread and butter was very good. When dessert arrived there was a candle for my wife (the waiter had made a note). Overall a good experience. I'd dine here again.

Nice food and friendly service. Willing to accommodate us with 3 kids and two buggies.

Good meal and very good service particularly impressive given that it's wimbledon fortnight and so everywhere is very busy.

We've been to Aubaine many times and it's always been good but yesterday was a very bad experience. A near 2-hour wait for our food and when it arrived it was pretty poor. Nobody knew what was going on and there was no communication with customers. We had 3 kids who were getting very hungry and restless so by the time the food came they'd largely lunched on bread and olives. I don't think we'll be returning with so many other restaurant options in Wimbledon Village.

    • overpricing. (Food was good but too expensive for what it is)
    • Slow Service

Good choice of food and set menus good value. Food was clearly cooked through but warm rather than piping hot. Exit door to garden needs an auto closer as it was drafty when staff and customers left it open. Not acceptable that staff "could not say" what happened to gratuities. Did not want to embarrass my fellow guest so let that go, but really this company should make its policy clear.
