A good value Italian restaurant in the heart of this historic town, ASK Italian Wetherby is right on the market place and surrounded by a range of unique shops.

Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there’s always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.

ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily’s most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.

Set on the main road through the town, Wetherby ASK Italian is just a 5-minute drive from the Wetherby racecourse and a short walk from the river.

Enjoyed the food and wine BUT the service was very slow. The restaurant was fairly empty but we had to wait a long time to order drinks and for each course to be served. HOWEVER will try ASK again.

Our visit was very enjoyable and the staff and food were great. Our only issue was that we felt rushed to order and the main course was brought out as our staters were taken away!

Very busy last night, which caught the staff out so initial service a bit slow on getting the drinks order. food good though and a lively atmosphere

My family and I had a warm welcome on our arrival. The food was to die for. The restaurant was clean, tidy and well laid out. Staff were pleasant and polite.

Birthday celebration for our daughter. Smaller than the average ASK but nicer in some ways. Staff very attentive and food consistent as always.

Table reserved and was in a nice situation near to the window. Ordered drinks and they came quite quickly but there was no ice or lemon in the glasses for the sparkling water. The Merlot wine which we ordered was very nice. We ordered our food choices and the waitress came back to say that there was no Bruschetta so we chose the Rosemary & Sea Salt Bread with Olives and a Dip. Guess what they had no Rosemary & Sea Salt Bread, so we chose the Garlic Bread. The starters came and they were very nice. My husband chose the Funghi Misti which was served in a cold dish and he said it all right but not worth £11.95 and he was not offered black pepper or Parmesan Cheese. I had a Classic Margherita Pizza with extra toppings of Peppers, Mushrooms and Olives and it was really good. There was a good lively atmosphere is the restaurant spoiled by three very loud couples sitting on a new table who shouted at the top of their voices. So all in all a lovely meal spoiled only by inexperienced staff who had obviously not been trained properly. The waitress who took our order was pleasant and apologetic, it was not her fault that the restaurant had run out of two starters,

Lovely restaurant, recently refurbished creating a much-improved dining experience. Excellent service, very friendly, happy waitresses, and had the same dish I always have, Ravioli Marittimi, which was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant.
