Housed in a converted warehouse, ASK Italian Spice Quay offers stunning views of Tower Bridge and the Thames. The outdoor seating area is just the place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal during the summer months.

Driven by a passion for authenticity, classic Italian food and culture shine through at ASK. The ASK Italian menu reveals both classic and modern Italian flavours with special ingredients like lobster, king prawns and slow-roasted Tuscan classic pork belly porchetta, whilst Italian Luganica sausage features in the fresh pasta dishes. Choose one of the crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings, or create your own from the wide range of ingredients. Sweet-toothed diners can indulge in a selection of decadent desserts, including a gooey chocolate amore and the apple cinnamon pizza dolce.

With an obsession for soulful Italian food and ingredients, ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices. There is a popular kids menu, and premium award-winning Italian beers are available alongside Italian wines and soft drinks.

Bermondsey ASK Italian, on Spice Quay, serves authentic Italian cuisine among the many attractions on the Southbank of London.

Beautiful food definitely would go back

Ask Shad Thames was frankly a disappointment. The restaurant was surprisingly empty and without any buzz. The 3 course £17.95 menu was restricted to pasta dishes only and the three starter choices were only garlic bread or bruschetta. Quite frankly I would not return to this branch as other restaurants in the vicinity are much more interesting.

It was a quick lunch but we felt a bit rushed to finish our meal as it took us nearly 20 minutes to get the starters even though the restaurant was nearly empty.

We use this restaurant quite often and have always found the staff helpful and charming, nothing is ever to much trouble for them. The food is wonderful and quite a
good selection also the wine list. The views are fantastic. We have used this restaurant for our Christmas lunch with friends a couple of times and considering doing so
    again this year.

Really friendly service, ideal for our group . Festive menu provided but also comprehensive ordinary menu

Nice restaurant - part of the Ask chain. They have a big terrace that overlooks the Thames - but they not let you specify a terrace table when you book online. Sad, as that is the only reason I wanted to make a reservation.

We dine at ASK restaurants quite frequently and find that the food (whilst a bit pricey) is consistently good and of a high standard. The menu is varied enough to suit most tastes and you know what you're going to get. Fine dining it is not, but a nice Italian that serves decent food it is.
