Driven by a passion for authenticity, classic Italian food and culture shine through at ASK. The ASK Italian menu reveals both classic and modern Italian flavours with special ingredients like lobster, king prawns and slow-roasted Tuscan classic pork belly porchetta, whilst Italian Luganica sausage features in the fresh pasta dishes. Choose one of the crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings, or create your own from the wide range of ingredients. Sweet-toothed diners can indulge in a selection of decadent desserts, including a gooey chocolate amore and the apple cinnamon pizza dolce.

With an obsession for soulful Italian food and ingredients, ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices. There is a popular kids menu, and premium award-winning Italian beers are available alongside Italian wines and soft drinks.

Bermondsey ASK Italian, on Spice Quay, serves authentic Italian cuisine among the many attractions on the Southbank of London.

once we arrived we were seated pretty quick, with a nice view of the thames

This Ask restaurant has pleasant design and layout. It's possible to sit outside looking out towards Tower Bridge but too cold for us. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu is a pretty good modern Italian style with plenty of options, and our dished were very nicely done.

Great experience, exceptional service and staff definitely went out of their way to ensure my friend and I were very well looked after. Food was delicious and had a good view of the Thames River. Dishes I encourage people to try are the sea bass, chicken fillet meals and don't forget to leave room for the yummy desserts! Very highly recommended!

Terribly slow service and very basic tasting food! The only thing that tasted good were the prawns. They had ran out of most things by just 5pm on the Mother's Day menu which is very silly!! Had to wait ages for them to serve us and they just seemed so disorganised and rushed. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!

Beautiful food definitely would go back

Ask Shad Thames was frankly a disappointment. The restaurant was surprisingly empty and without any buzz. The 3 course £17.95 menu was restricted to pasta dishes only and the three starter choices were only garlic bread or bruschetta. Quite frankly I would not return to this branch as other restaurants in the vicinity are much more interesting.

It was a quick lunch but we felt a bit rushed to finish our meal as it took us nearly 20 minutes to get the starters even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
