With great views of the sea, harbour and Scarborough Castle, ASK Italian Scarborough on the North Wharf is an Italian pizza and pasta restaurant with a spacious outdoor dining area.

Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there’s always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.

ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily’s most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.

The Scarborough ASK Italian Restaurant is around a 15-minute walk from both the Brunswick shopping centre and Scarborough Rail Station.

Lovely food, though the fryer was broken so some starters were off, and they had ran out of risotto. We did go last thing on a Saturday night though so that was ok.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, the waiter gladly took a photo of my family for us.

Nice restaurant, good service. Pironi at £5.55 a pint or £2.95 for a half was very expensive.

This was my first time in your restaurant, as I thought you were just another pizza and pasta place how wrong I was , from entering to leaving the staff were extremely helpful and the food was amazing , my partner and myself will definitely be back and have recommended you to all of our friends.

We were 10 minutes late for our table but it was not a problem for the staff. Our waiter, Tom, was very helpful and friendly. It was busy but no delays getting served. All the food was very good. Our grandson had the mixed dough balls followed by a margarita pizza and chips, my husband had a calzone pizza which was the best he's ever had and I had the caprese salad which was very good followed by pasta with lobster and king prawns which was delicious. All portions were a good size and nobody could eat a dessert. We eat regularly in our local Ask but taking everything into account the Scarborough one came out on top. Will visit again soon.

Poor. We had booked for 5 a few days before but were put on a table laid for 4 - they just squeezed another chair round. The table was right next to a busy work station and one of our party was bumped into several times by staff. One of the meals was cold and had to be sent back so everyone had finished by the time their meal was redone. Cold by the air con unit but our waitress didn't seem to understand what we were trying to tell her. Staff cleaning cutlery right by our table, polishing then dropping in to the cutlery trays - very noisy. Could have been done in another part of the restaurant. Didn't receive discount for Prosecco
