Our table was booked for a friends birthday. The restuarant was busy & noisy. Our waiter for the evening was well presented & polite. Our food arrived after a short wait &was well presented & hot. I do feel the food is expensive for what you get..I had lasagne which came with a small salad but garlic bread with it would have been nice. My friend had to order a side salad with her meal which I feel should have been part of it. The deserts were nice but again small for the price. There were 5 of us and with drinks our meals came to over £100 the birthday girl had a voucher for £20 off which thankfully helped otherwise it was a very expensive evening.

Nice and warm on a cold evening, buzzy atmosphere, very pleasant waitress, food good if slightly production line-ish. The squid rings in my seafood risotto were tasteless and slightly bizarre, as if synthetic. Overall though a good value chain restaurant experience.

One last thing though. I intended to leave a tip as I always do, but was blackmailed into it by the credit card terminal. Shameful.

Food was very good. Overall in and out time was 55 minutes. However service lacked throughout the service. Multiple servers to one table. Getting mains before our original drink order. Then an overcharge on the bill. Overall good food experience but service let's restaurant down.

Well only recommend restaurant for the brilliant food and warn them about the service.

Although we booked a late table, 9,45pm, we didn't feel rushed at all. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and wine were excellent. Would have liked a larger range of liquers. Chairs were a little uncomfortable to sit on. Old fashioned kitchen wooden chairs

We decided to treat ourselves to a meal out to celebrate New Year's Eve. We ordered from the Festive Set Menu, priced at £24.95 per person, and consisting of 3 courses, a glass of Prosecco and Limonchello to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - all the food was fantastic - the duck we both had for our mains was particularly excellent. We are always very impressed with the choice and quality of the meat and fish dishes. Thank you again to all the staff too, who once again, made us feel very welcome.
