In a chic, colourful setting, ASK Italian Glasgow Port Dundas Place offers a great selection of flavoursome Mediterranean dishes, blending traditional recipes with innovative twists.

Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there's always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.

ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily's most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.

ASK Italian Glasgow Port Dundas Place sits in the city centre, a stone’s throw from Glasgow Caledonian University, and 8 minutes’ walk from Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station.

A plate would be nice with my calzone. Service was excellent

Enjoyable meal helped greatly by friendly, patient Dutch waitress who buzzed about and had such a pleasant personality. I should have noted her name.

Mussels for starter we're smaller than I'm used to, thought that they had been harvested too early. The meatballs were good, but a touch dry due to the lack of sauce. The sauce was soaked up by the bed of toasted bread, so the dish would have benefitted from more sauce. The couch pastry dessert was described as having a hot sauce, but this was cold and the gelato was described as being hazelnut but was in fact vanilla. Piped music was too loud and we asked to be moved to a quieter seat.

I booked table for 4 and had confirmation on phone. Our friends arrived first and told not booked under my name. However gave them a table. We arrived sorted it out then ordered starters and main. Waited ages then main came . Waitress, had forgotten to,put starter order through . At end of service she knocked 2 of our glasses of table and smashed them. Not ideal. We were there 5.45pm on Friday 9th December.

Our dine was an enjoyable experience. There was a bit of a delay at the start due to the number of diners who arrived at the same time, probably all from the Concert Hall across the road.
The staff were very polite and friendly. the food was of excellent quality and was really enjoyed.

Lovely. I specified I would like a booth & was given one, service was sharp & waitress couldn't have been more helpful. Food was delicious & clean plates all round. I always enjoy myself when I eat at Ask Italian!

Very tasty food and quick service. Busy upbeat atmosphere - a wee bit noisy.

Ate here before going to a concert at the Concert Hall. Location excellent for that. Nice place, decent atmosphere and menu selection. My wife enjoyed her meal, starter of aubergines with mozzarella, main of gluten free pizza. I had starter of mussels and main of seafood linguine. They were okay but the linguine dish was pretty bland. Use the "tastecard" so food was 2for1 and so good value. It was fine, but wouldnt rush back, but perhaps I picked the wrong dish. Service was pleasant and reasonably quick.
