Offering chic Mediterranean dining, ASK Italian Bromley serves a selection of Italian delicacies in stylish surroundings. Diners can choose from bold Italian classic recipes, or subtler, more contemporary options.

Inspired by the Italian way of eating, ASK Italian celebrates mealtimes as an opportunity to connect with one another around the table. Start with a perfect-for-sharing antipasti board from the ASK Italian menu, and enjoy signature dishes from fresh pasta to crispy stone-baked pizzas with a great choice of toppings. And because there's always room for dessert, diners can indulge in a selection of beautiful desserts including the chocolate Etna, served with plenty of theatre.

ASK Italian restaurants showcase Italian cuisine at affordable prices, with allergen information on hand if ever you need it, plus a fun kids menu. Premium beers, including Sicily's most famous craft beer, Messina Bira, are available alongside Italian wines, cocktails and soft drinks, like a refreshing craft lemonade.

The evening started ,curiously, with a complementary shot glass of "lemonade" which was just like dilute lemon squash but improved once this was done. (We were reminded of it when neat lemon juice arrived instead of our son's apple juice). The food was fine and having a table in a "snug" meant we could enjoy it as a family. Pizzas were good as were the salad and lasagna our son ordered. Desserts were great. The restaurant was not too busy. Price seemed high now that discount codes seem to be the norm. Almost as if Saturday, full price, is a surcharge.

Nice restaurant. The food was good, as was the service. It wasn't that busy so we had a choice of table. We chose to sit by the by folding doors which had been opened a bit, which was nice as it wasn't quite warm enough for us to sit outside but didn't want to be in the middle of the restaurant either, so had the best of both. Prosecco went down very well........I had the lobster & prawns pasta dish. Didn't look very big, but it was quite filling. My friend had the chicken calazone which looked huge when it came out! She enjoyed it too. I then had the taramisu very nice! and she had the gelato which she said was very nice. We would go back as didn't feel rushed or pushed to have starter or dessert and the atmosphere was light and easy going. I'd say it's more for a girly night out than a romantic meal type of place.

My booking was for 4.30pm so the restaurant was fairly empty when I arrived. I was greeted by the manageress who allowed me to choose where I wished to sit. I ordered red and white wine which arrived promptly. I also ordered two lunchtime vegetarian small meals to act as starters for myself and two guests. I asked for a third plate and when the second guest had not arrived the manageress took the food to keep warm and brought it out as soon as she did arrive. The service for the rest of the food was excellent. The waitress and the manageress were Polish, but we are still voting to LEAVE the EU. We need to keep control of numbers.

We always use asks because we like the range of food ( although most of us usually have our favourite each time). The service was quick and efficient as we said we were going to the theatre afterwards, the staff are always friendly and we have never had a meal that wasn't satisfactory. We even had the extra treat of seeing Shane Ritchie and Jessica Wallace as they left the restaurant.
The house wine is always excellent.

At 6pm the restaurant was full mainly with people have pre theatre dinners. They were short of waiting staff so we had to wait a long time for our meal. My special of hot duck breast on salad with lentils and pancetta came without the lentils and pancetta. They had run out of several desserts and my chocolate and coffee tart was stale and hard.

6 women out to lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Zach our waiter was wonderful. We arrived in dribs and drabs but he ensured that he came over to ask if each person would like a drink when they arrived. He was very attentive but discreet. Full marks for his service.
