Complement your food with a choice from the varied bar stock, which includes beers from Marston’s own breweries.

Legendary desserts at SunnySide pub include cheesecakes, tarts and old-school crumble with custard, as well as colourful ice cream sundaes. Kids can choose their favourite ingredients from the build-your-own menu, ensuring even the pickiest of eaters are covered.

Warm and inviting atmosphere. Good food. Seasonally decorated. Staff efficient and friendly.
    Clean
Less stars for location, simply because we have to travel from Milford, so either bus or taxi.

We have eaten at the Ash Tree many times and took family this time. We were a little disappointed however as they sat us by the door which we closed three times due yo smokers leaving it open and smoke blowing through, but to be fair they moved us but had the place been full would have been impossible. Two of our guests had the Sunday roast and returned them as the roast potatoes were black they replaced them. But to be honest dampened the day as we had always boasted about the Ash Tree being our local and its location is fantastic. In future I would be reluctant to take friends and family there.

Lovely food, friendly & efficient staff. Table was crammed into a corner & for 4 adults there wasn't enough room! Will visit again but at a different table. One of the ladies toilets were broken which was OK while the pub was quiet.

Lovely food and atmosphere but felt abit confined as the table was stuck in the corner and trying to get the attention of the staff at times was difficult.

I take my father out each weekend & we felt like a change, so booked The Ash Tree. What a mistake , we both like steak, I have mine medium rare & my father has medium to well done; however both steaks were apauling, I have never has such an awful steak & left most of it. We were asked how our meal was & when I share my opinion on the steak, I was just sneared at!
