First time at Ashmount for afternoon tea. What a beautiful place and surroundings. Every tempting treat was delicious had to eat all, too good to leave although we could have taken it home. Thank you Lynne and Graham.

We were welcomed with a lovely smile and as we were the first to arrive, were able to choose our table. The three tier cake stand laden with tempting food arrived next. It was obvious that everything had been prepared fresh, from sandwiches with three fillings (smoked salmon, ham & cream cheese), via sausage rolls, scones, profiteroles, Madeira cake and chocolate cupcake. There was more than enough for the two of us, especially as we managed to get through three pots of tea each! Even though it was a small dining room we didn't feel cramped and all in all a lovely way to spend a Friday lunchtime.
