First time at Ashmount for afternoon tea. What a beautiful place and surroundings. Every tempting treat was delicious had to eat all, too good to leave although we could have taken it home. Thank you Lynne and Graham.

We were welcomed with a lovely smile and as we were the first to arrive, were able to choose our table. The three tier cake stand laden with tempting food arrived next. It was obvious that everything had been prepared fresh, from sandwiches with three fillings (smoked salmon, ham & cream cheese), via sausage rolls, scones, profiteroles, Madeira cake and chocolate cupcake. There was more than enough for the two of us, especially as we managed to get through three pots of tea each! Even though it was a small dining room we didn't feel cramped and all in all a lovely way to spend a Friday lunchtime.

The setting is very relaxed and the food was very good quality. Service also good.

We have lived in the area for years and driven past this hidden gem dozens of times! There is nothing that indicates there is somewhere very special there! We were booked for the Afternoon Tea which was everything you would hope for - everything fresh, well-flavoured and dainty, yet very filling overall! The service was top class and nothing was too much trouble - as it was a lovely summer's day we had asked to be in the garden.Full of quiet corners within a beautiful country garden in full bloom we were in fantasyland!
We want to go again - but at the same time it would be terrible to spoil the 'special- ness' of the occasion!

I brought my friends from Wales and my mum for Afternoon Tea, we were greeted and looked after excellently. All my requests were in place and nothing was too much trouble. We all thought it was a delightful afternoon very much enjoyed thank you so much. We had a lovely sit in your garden which rounded our stay off perfectly.
