An excellent evening. Service was courteous and helpful. The food was good and the atmosphere relaxed an not too formal.

A very disappointing meal. The starter was tasteless, the vegetables ordered didn't arrive and the service grouchy.

Have been coming here for several years and this place never fails to disappoint ME, so I am naturally biased. What you do get is beautifully prepared fresh Italian cuisine (so you will actually have to wait 10-15 mins while they actually cook it!), with a polished friendly hi-end service (spotless napery, correctly chilled/warmed wine etc); what you don't get is the total "best-value" etc. although the set menu for 2 offers a good entry trial if you're unsure. Tuna Carpaccio is particularly fine currently and they have a fine wine cellar; the ambiance is warm and buzzing in the evenings as it's so popular so you MUST book ahead... enjoy.

We've had lunch here several times but this was a first for us in the evening. Very welcoming with the doors completely open but service very slow although there were few diners. Food unusually indifferent and left rather disappointed
