A truly breathtaking restaurant in the Hyatt Regency, Aria showcases refined European cuisine. Guests can dine under the shimmering glass-roofed atrium, alongside trickling water features and suspended foliage.

Decadent seasonal flavours are weaved through the Aria menu, with favourites like confit duck leg with braised red cabbage and white bean cassoulet, or smoked haddock potato cake with a soft boiled egg. Indulgences for dessert include rich chocolate and blackberry torte, or zingy mango and passion fruit parfait with coconut cookies.

Spanning from breakfast to lunch and dinner, Aria Bistro in Birmingham offers a full menu, as well as lighter meals and afternoon teas. Cooling cocktails and fine wines can be enjoyed from the hotel’s Pub.

An earthy yet awe-inspiring setting, Aria on Broad Street is a 5-minute drive from Birmingham New Street Rail Station.

Sensational! Everyone does afternoon tea now, sadly not all as good as they should be. For me its about the quality, and this had it in abundance. The service from the outset was exceptional; "more tea?" - the waitress tended us without hesitation or request for four hours... So, setting is charming, contemporary, relaxing and cool. The product served was perfect (usual drill of sandwiches, scones and individual cakes and dessert) and the choices of tea were very good (I've stopped short of excellent as there was no Ceylon, though the Assam was an excellent substitute so maybe I should say "very good and a half"). Nothing was too much trouble, it was a bargain four hours of excellent service and refreshment at £21.50.
One tiny improvement - the toilets need a sort out, for such a beautiful venue the toilets were disappointing and shall we say "worsened" as time went on. Please don't let that detract from the fabulousness though

Lovely place. Table not ready despite having booked. Would have been nice to have a description of teas rather than just names. Also the vegetarian option was very limited - just cheese and cucumber. Adv at time of booking that needed a vegetarian option so more could have been prepared.

Booked the champagne afternoon tea for my mum and aunt who were both celebrating their birthdays.

The staff were excellent, attentive, polite and friendly. Afternoon tea with Champagne was delicious, however the experience was very slightly affected by the fact that there was scaffolding within the dining area.

I took my best friend for afternoon tea and she loved it. We both enjoyed the experience very much. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I loved the whole look of the hotel and it felt very welcoming. The food was beautiful and so well presented.
