Overall a great meal. The ambience is great for meal before a night out or a date. The food was excellent except for the dessert which we literally couldn't eat - not nice at all (it was a pumpkin flavoured soya pudding)

Food was delicious, everything on the set menu was presented beautifully and the flavours were exceptional. Even the set menu cocktail was so good, we ordered another round! The restaurant itself is beautiful with great ambience. What let the experience down was the service. Our waitress got our starter order wrong (sushi instead of sashimi), forgot to bring the table glasses of tap water even after we asked 3 times, and when the water finally came it was just one glass (there were 4 guests at the table). Also, there was a missed cocktail order. If they can improve their staff training then this review would have been much higher!! Overall though, fantastic restaurant decor, ambience, location and food!

I seldom eat Japanese food but the meal here was very enjoyable. A great atmosphere with helpful staff, especially the manager who advised us on sake. The surroundings were lovely and I would definitely go again.

Small but good enough portions in the set menu; everything was very tasty and the cocktail was delicious.

Lovely restaurant, but the set menu was not great. Sashimi and sushi was fishy, meal size was tiny. Arrival cocktail was nice though!
Service was really bad as well, you could tell they looked after the tables who weren't on the cheaper set menu a lot better. Waited about 10 minutes to get someone's attention so we could have bowls to eat the noodle soup.
I'd go back for a drink on the rooftop bar, but not to eat

Food from special menu was good however the service was appalling. First I got a menu with no 'menu' inside. When I got one, it was different to menu person I was dinning with had. Getting attention of waiter was also quite difficult - often waiting a long time for water or not being offered alternatives when our cocktail was finished. Multiple tables around us also struggled getting their food on time or attention from waiter. Given we weren't asked how our meal was or experience was - this feedback was not given live.

the service from the entrance is impeccable, the atmosphere is absolutely elegant and cosy. loved the decoration. although we took the 29£ offer and the dessert didn't fulfill our expectations, they do know how to do sushi but not desserts.
in addition the cocktails were unbelivable
