Went for afternoon tea with friends, food was delicious (freshly made sandwiches, scones still warm from oven), service excellent and very friendly. Restaurant was smart yet cosy, we sat in lovely big armchairs round our table. Will definitely return.

Once again we had an excellent meal at Annies. The food is very good, fresh produce and the portion sizes are perfect. I particularly like the asparagus and Parma ham starter. Our waiter Josh was excellent. I'm sorry they've stopped serving Aperol Spritz since our last visit as this is my favourite cocktail. There were adverts all around Manchester for this drink so I was surprised to hear that it had been discontinued.

Four of us came for the Classic Afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue was not very busy when we were there but it took a long time to have our table cleared. We ordered cocktails after our tea and only just managed to fit them on the table.

Without doubt this is the friendliest and best quality tea shop in Manchester. We come over from Yorkshire every so often on theatre trips and call for afternoon tea (at lunchtime) before matinees. We can't fault Annie's in any way. Moist, fresh sandwiches, scones which taste and smell as though they've come straight out of the oven and an outstanding selection of cakes. And you get plenty for your money. We've recommended it to lots of friends and will continue to do so.
