Very welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful afternoon tea. A very good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Balloons were placed on the table for our celebration and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

I have visited before and been very happy with the experience. Unfortunately this time I was somewhat disappointed. My guest was 80 yrs old, hence the visit. She wanted a prawn cocktail, taking her back to the 60's. It was described as "our taste" on the prawn cocktail. It came as 3 prawns on a skewer with a moderately hot chilli sauce...not anywhere near what was expected? We ordered the fillet steak, which was delicious, if large. The chips, sadly, were very dark (well cooked) and it could be said were a little overfacing for the plate. (Am sure it's rare for people to complain about too many!)
Not to worry...it was sad for my visitor who hadn't been to Manchester since 1967.

We had a lovely afternoon and are looking forward to visiting again. The food was delicious and Gregg was a fabulous host! The table decorations for our mums birthday were a lovely surprise and certainly added that special something! Thank you!

Visited on a Monday evening which wasn't really a good idea as for most of the time there was no one else in the restaurant. Despite this the food and service were very good. I had fish and chips and my friend had cheese and onion pie. Traditional food, perhaps Annie's could have a moreal adventurous menu, but not on a Monday!

Lovely restaurant, great friendly staff and good atmosphere. We were first sat downstairs by the kitchen door at the back corner, the door was constantly swinging open and shut with staff going in and out and was squeaky. Staff then moved us to another table after asking which was much better. Would recommend not having a dining table right by the door.

Food was great however not many options for a vegetarian.
