Food was a delight ! Our steaks were cooked exactly to our requests. Unfortunately we couldn't manage a dessert. Unable to rate all of the features as was dark. The only small thing that could have enhanced my experience would be to have syrups for the coffees.

The perfect place for a celebratory meal. Our third visit and it seems to get better. Thank you

A lovely ambience. Excellent food for a set price which was very good value. We were a group of 4 and all enjoyed every bit of the food.

We enjoyed the meal thoroughly and it was good to find that there were a number of wines by the glass so that we could each choose what with what course. Service equally good

Reception, menu. Service. Ambience all excellent. I have withheld a 5th star because a steak was far more than medium rare and the wine was overpriced. Excellent artisan beers though!

We had been wanting to come here for ages and you didn't disappoint. There was a very good variety of dishes on the menu which made it very difficult to choose. We were a party of four and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals which looked and tasted wonderful. My venison was cooked to perfection, pink and juicy. My husbands turkey balotine was moist and delicious, following a starter of scallop perfection (I had to taste them). Good food served with good, friendly service. We'll be back.

Excellent as usual. Food always superb and wait staff attentive and flexible with menu choices.

Friendly staff, but we felt a little more staff training was required regarding ordering drinks and serving wine. We ate two dates in bacon, one smoked salmon scotch egg and one whipped goats cheese and beetroot, which was mine, beautifully presented and very tasty.
The sea bass and pasta could have done with more sauce; it was dry, especially round the edges. The venison had no complaints and my rump of lamb was generous and very tasty. We felt the servings of vegetables were generous, as well as tasty. It is nice to go to a restaurant and feel that we have had portions of vegetables, rather than a smear or sight/smell.
This remains one of our favourite restaurants in the area and will come again. And again!
