Food &a service really really good! Only think I would say is it was a little quiet due to not being too busy, maybe a little background music.

Will definitely return

We had been wanting to come here for ages and you didn't disappoint. There was a very good variety of dishes on the menu which made it very difficult to choose. We were a party of four and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals which looked and tasted wonderful. My venison was cooked to perfection, pink and juicy. My husbands turkey balotine was moist and delicious, following a starter of scallop perfection (I had to taste them). Good food served with good, friendly service. We'll be back.

Excellent as usual. Food always superb and wait staff attentive and flexible with menu choices.

Friendly staff, but we felt a little more staff training was required regarding ordering drinks and serving wine. We ate two dates in bacon, one smoked salmon scotch egg and one whipped goats cheese and beetroot, which was mine, beautifully presented and very tasty.
The sea bass and pasta could have done with more sauce; it was dry, especially round the edges. The venison had no complaints and my rump of lamb was generous and very tasty. We felt the servings of vegetables were generous, as well as tasty. It is nice to go to a restaurant and feel that we have had portions of vegetables, rather than a smear or sight/smell.
This remains one of our favourite restaurants in the area and will come again. And again!

Very welcoming staff and the smell of delicious food cooking was a good start. Found our favourite starter was still on the menu and was not disappointed. We received a professional and friendly service. Thank you.
