The afternoon tea was absolutely lovely and the staff were very friendly. My daughter is very fussy with food so our request for no fish was taken care of!

The Amy’s menu showcases a select list of innovative options, with classics taking on modern ideas, like corn fed chicken flavoured with garlic and thyme and served with fondant potato, onion chutney, salty wilted spinach and a creative grain mustard jus. The indulgent grilled lobster comes served with a salad of warm Mediterranean vegetables, new potatoes infused with lemon and dill, and robust garlic herb butter. A medley of well-suited flavours is found at Amy’s restaurant in the strawberry marshmallow, consisting of black pepper marshmallow, strawberries with a hint of balsamic, crushed meringue, and strawberry sorbet, topped off with fresh basil.

    3 of us ordered steak with triple cooked chips after about 45 minutes if arrived the chips were not triple cooked and when we asked why they weren't they said they had run out. Steak should have been medium rare and was well done and when we asked where the complementary bread was we were told the chef was just cutting it. It never arrived despite asking for it several times.

    Evening got off to a bad start - I thought I was going to have a discount with my Hilton Homage membership - but the team said No. As punishment for asking we were put on a cramped table even for 2. Then we were forgotten for ages after our main course, and our bill arrived before we were asked whether we wanted dessert. The chef however did a great job, the food was really different and very well prepared and presented. I hope he or she gets a good share of the pre added standard service charge!

    Despite having prebooked a table we were kept waiting.

    Food was ok, but expensive for dish received and service was slow. I would expect better than this for an airport hotel which we booked because we had an early morning flight.

    Unfortunately the online reservation did not work - so the Hilton were not expecting our party of eight so we had a fair wait Probably best to book direct... Food was amazing though - especially as they were not prepared!
