The Amy’s menu showcases a select list of innovative options, with classics taking on modern ideas, like corn fed chicken flavoured with garlic and thyme and served with fondant potato, onion chutney, salty wilted spinach and a creative grain mustard jus. The indulgent grilled lobster comes served with a salad of warm Mediterranean vegetables, new potatoes infused with lemon and dill, and robust garlic herb butter. A medley of well-suited flavours is found at Amy’s restaurant in the strawberry marshmallow, consisting of black pepper marshmallow, strawberries with a hint of balsamic, crushed meringue, and strawberry sorbet, topped off with fresh basil.

Classic cocktails, snacks, light bites and afternoon teas are available in the separate plush and cosy bar at the heart of the Gatwick Airport Hilton Hotel. Amy’s restaurant boasts understated elegance with muted tones, sleek chairs and prints of tree trunks lining the walls.

Despite having prebooked a table we were kept waiting.

Food was ok, but expensive for dish received and service was slow. I would expect better than this for an airport hotel which we booked because we had an early morning flight.

Unfortunately the online reservation did not work - so the Hilton were not expecting our party of eight so we had a fair wait Probably best to book direct... Food was amazing though - especially as they were not prepared!

Helpful staff but ridiculously overpriced even for an airport hotel.

Surprised my mum with afternoon tea for her 50th birthday. The waiter was friendly and the service was quick. There was a great selection of food which was all lovely and beautifully presented. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to treat someone special!

It was good but not great

Good food but very expensive ( 50% over comparable restaurants elsewhere) for fittings and location i.e. plastic "wood" tables in mid range airport hotel.

I came for afternoon tea and was very impressed , we did have to wait a while for the food but it was worth it there was plenty as well . The only other thing which was a bit annoying was the cost of the parking
