Recipient of a Michelin star, 4 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents contemporary fine dining at his eponymously named restaurant at the 5-star Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years working under Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, Alyn Williams' restaurant has emerged as one of the most luxurious places to eat in London.

The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.

Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

From start to finish, we were looked after by all the staff with great care and attention. No detail was missed, it certainly was a fine dining experience. Our tastes were easily catered for. There is An extensive wine menu, with a range of Prices to Cater for all. The food was fresh, vibrant, seasonal and delicious. We had the optional Cheese board, and the selection was perfect. The. Meal was rounded off with a choice of Coffee served With Petit fours.

We were seated at a really nice table, booth at the corner of the room. Service was really good, staff were attentive but not overbearing. We weren't expecting a surprise menu though so we were quite disappointed as we were looking forward very much to the menu we saw on Bookatable which was the reason we make the reservation. That said, canapes were interesting, starter was excellent, wasn't very impressed with the main but dessert was also really good. The restaurant had great wine selection. Overall, it was a relatively good experience.

Service was excellent, the waiters were very nice.
A bit disappointed on the bespoke set menu, we were not given any choices on what we would eat. Veal tartare is not made for everyone. Seems like they gave us all unsold dishes from their lunch set menu

Excellent reception at the restaurant, very good table, and a really remarkable dining experience. They even heard me toast my sister with Happy birthday and brought a slice of birthday cake for her.

Went on the £30 star deal and it was incredible. I was initially quite hesitant as there is no menu and all the dishes are a surprise but now I don't know why I was worried. Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was incredibly professionally but very friendly. The deal itself including prosecco, tea/coffee and petitis fours is incredible value for money and I couldn't recommend it more!

overall a lovely dining experience to celebrate a special birthday. Staff were pleasant. Food delicious. Only one little niggle was the price of a glass of port with our cheese. If we knew it was costing so much we maybe not have chosen it but we were not told the cost at the time of ordering.

The food was amazing, we had 5 courses which unfortunately we couldn't finish because we couldn't eat more. The service was also amazing, friendly and attentive. We had a really enjoyable evening.
