Recipient of a Michelin star, 3 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents elegant fine-dining at his eponymously named restaurant at The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years of honing his talents under Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, Williams finally established himself at The Westbury in 2011, and was immediately named National Chef of the Year the following year.

The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.

Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

The scallops risotto was absolutely amazing and leaves you hungering for more. Furthermore the poached chicken was so well marinated on top of being succulent and tender.
Definitely will visit this place again in the near future!

Spot on. Service was fabulous and the food delicious. We had one vegetarian who was given lots of choice - even though we were having the cheap restricted choice menu. Fabulous wine selection - including some amazing wines by the glass - far better than you normally get when just wanting a glass.

All our dishes were superb. The bread and especially the butter for the fougasse were delicious. The salted caramel truffles we had with our coffee were to die for!
The service was very friendly and discretely attentive. My husband asked questions about the recipes and was taken to the kitchen to meet Alyn Williams-which absolutely made his day.
Overall we had a lovely dining experience.

A fantastic dinner with amazing food and service. We had a surprise menu which was really nice as we did not know what dishes were coming. It was one lovely tasting and beautifully presented dish after the other. The service was fantastic with very attentive staff and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We even took some incredible salted caramel chocolates home.

This was a really nice experience. We had the set lunch and betwwen us tried all the dishes. The Art Deco style interior is nice and alhough the room is large the placement of furniture and pillars gives each table quite a private feel. The service was attentive without being intrusive and the food was delicious. They had asked us if it was a special occassion and as my son has just got a new job we sold them we were celebrating that. We were then treated to a little extra celebration desert to share between us which was a really nice touch. It even had congratulations written round the plate in chocolate. All in all a great lunch leaving as just full enough to be satisfied but not over full or still wanting more.
