Recipient of a Michelin star, 4 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents contemporary fine dining at his eponymously named restaurant at the 5-star Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years working under Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, Alyn Williams' restaurant has emerged as one of the most luxurious places to eat in London.

The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.

Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

The service was excellent, the food was very good , but the offer did not highlight that the menu was set, no choice at all.
We would have liked to have had a choice from a limited menu.
Overall the ambiance was fair but have been to more glamorous reasturants.

I dined at Alyn Williams with a special offer and usually with these things you're left hungry and a little disappointed. At first we ordered the most expensive cocktail I have ever had, albeit delicious and we were presented with some blue cheese profiteroles. At this point I would have gone home happy as they were to die for and I didn't want to share! When we sat down we were asked if we had any allergies or anything we didn't like as it turned out this was a surprise menu and we had no idea what we were getting. 1st up were some parsley tarts which were salty and morish. OMG the bread and butter.....again I could have stopped here and I would have been satisfied. The starter arrived which was a tomato and goats cheese with burnt garlic; very fresh, clean and light. The main was lamb rump with some mini confit potatoes and baby turnips. The flavor from the lamb made me forget my manners as I was wiping the plate clean with the small amount of bread remaining - amazing. Dessert was a passion fruit panacotta dome with a sorbet in the middle. I didn't think the meal could get better but it just did. To top all of this off the offer was with a wine pairing for each course and all 3 were delicious and not something I had tried before. So, to sum it all up, I was very very pleasantly surprised, the offer was very good value for money but the food was so delicious and almost addictive that I will definitely be returning for the a la Carte menu in the future. A true delight.

Food was excellent. I went for a birthday lunch with a friend. The 3 course Saturday menu had 5 choices for each course - all of them tempting. We had the tomato, lobster and cow's milk pannacota starter and the lamb and kale dish for mains. They were both lovely. The blend of flavour worked very well and the presentation was excellent. The same goes for dessert too and we had a complimentary dessert for the birthday - a really nice touch. It was surprising how well the grapefruit worked in the trifle. Very good value for money for Saturday lunch.

a fab room, nice welcome, however having an unknown set menu doesn't appeal to everyone, especially if you don't like red meats etc.
it would be a good idea to ask people their preferences or allergies prior to the dishes coming out.
The wines were great and worked will with the dishes on offer, staff attentive, and overall food experience great, loved it!

Excellent lunch BUT when booking understood we would have a choice between 3-4 options per course. We were only offered the surprise 3 course menu without any choice!!!!!

Super service. Good surroundings. Risotto as it should be. Well done. Flavour of the lamb was not nice as was evident by the fact I hardly eat any!
I was not happy to be charged extra for the small glasses of cocktails which accompanied our main glasses. It's not right to be charged for something that we didn't order.
    Thank you. JVH Morris.
