Alice Lisle is a great place to enjoy rustic British food in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Children have an exclusive garden play area and diners can settle into the outdoor space with scenic lake views.

Spanning from salads and juicy burgers to piping-hot, stuffed-full pies, the Alice Lisle menu is lovingly prepared by the talented resident chefs. Ingredients are sourced from across the British Isles, and meats and daily-fresh fish catches can be traced back directly to sustainable, trusted suppliers. Choose from dishes including fish & chips shop platter, or Cornish Orchards braised Romsey pork belly.

Alice Lisle pub also presents a renowned drinks list, featuring award-winning ales including Fuller’s most well-known brew, London Pride. Fine wines, premium spirits and soft drinks are also on offer.

A fantastic range of British treats are offered at Alice Lisle Ringwood. Spinnaker Sailing Club is a 10-minute walk away.

Very friendly service, nothing was to much trouble, plenty of staff on what was a busy day due to the glorious weather. Lovely outside area with glimpses of the lake. Plenty of tables to eat at inside and out. Had a child's play area. Also a separate adults only area outside. Lovely location. Food was of a good standard plenty of it. Would re-visit again.

The whole experience of booking, arriving, being served by happy waitresses and the excellent food on such a busy Sunday, dealing with so many sittings and so many people was superb. We loved the way that the children, ours were 10 and 8, were not made to feel a nuisance and we noticed that families were relaxed, children were happy and the world seemed right! Please keep it like that!

We had a very good Sunday Roast at Alice Lisle's. The trout as a starter was a dream. The roast was also very nice. We had an excellent service. Very friendly. They are also very good with children and have a lot of patience. We love to go there.

Staff friendly and attentive. Beautiful setting, views across the lake. Service was quick. Starters, our party of 4 chose: French onion soup, served very hot with bread, lovely but too filling. Mozzarella salad - perfect. Main course - we all had 12 oz sirloin steak on the bone, all agreed it was one of the best steals ever!! Chips were delicious, too. Desert - choc orange brulee, yummy. Mango Eton mess and sticky toffee pudding, wonderful. Great food in beautiful setting, we'll be back!!

Excellent refurbishment and better layout of tables for dining. Liked the table service rather than ordering at bar. Only negative was getting a childs apple juice mixed up with a half pint of cider.... but we sorted it at the table. Straw had been put in wrong drink.

Fabulous. The ladies serving us were really helpful and pleasant. Food.....yummy! Children's menu doubling up as something to colour is a great idea. Play area is awesome, safe and well fenced off. Beautiful setting.

Overall a good (Good Friday) experience. Arrived after a refit over the previous two days so it smelled a bit of new paint. Clean and tidy. Very welcoming staff.

Pretty busy by the time we left, but the food was good and the service good considering the numbers. Happy to bring out our own birthday cake with plates.
