Boasting a showering of local awards, Alderley Edge Hotel is home to two of Cheshire’s finest eateries. With an impressive 3 AA Rosettes, The Alderley Restaurant offers refined fine dining, whilst the Brasserie serves up great British dishes with a modern twist.

Sophisticated flavour combinations are offered in the sublime 7-course tasting menu, with masterful creations including pigeon with sloe gin gel and walnuts, or whisky cured smoked salmon with potted brown shrimp. Retro recipes are served up in the brasserie, with its striking black, white and red décor offering a backdrop to its informal ambience.

An inventive dessert menu at Alderley Edge Hotel includes a smooth melting ginger fondant with rhubarb & custard ice cream, or iced caramel parfait with tangerine textures. An extensive wine list is expertly compiled, and showcases some of the most luxurious vintages on the market today.

An offshoot of the more formal Alderley Edge Restaurant, The Brasserie features bold red benches, eclectic prints and a sweeping stool-lined bar. Expect comfort food favourites, like succulent steaks or chicken chasseur. The well-stocked bar showcases a plethora of world wines, as well as cooling modern cocktail mixes.

From the elegant dining room at Alderley Edge restaurant, guests can look out onto panoramic views of the Cheshire plain. Alderley Edge Rail Station is a 2-minute drive away.

I booked this as a valentine treat for my partner, the service was very good, professional friendly staff. Unfortunately the bread used for the sandwiches was awful it was not fresh in fact it was stale after eating one of my finger sandwiches I had to wrap up the rest in tissues that I had in my bag and I took them home to throw away. The selection of tea was very good but unfortunately there was no decaf loose tea and I had to have a teabag. However the cakes were very nice and scone and cream lovely., it's a shame because I was going to book for my friends 50th Birthday treat, but I'm worried she too would find the quality of the sandwiches poor.

This was a set Valentines menu which was excellent. The dining room is nicely appointed and the ambience was ok but not great. The service was woeful. The car park was full so had to abandon the car on a grass verge.

We used to visit the Alderley Edge regularly for Sunday lunch approx. 18 months ago, however the service and food began to become very poor. We thought we'd give it another go as it had been such a long time since out previous visit only to find that the service was even poorer, the waitresses were scruffy and the food was way below average and certainly not good value for money. We were extremely disappointed and will not be re-visiting and certainly would not recommend to any one for Sunday lunch. A very poor experience.

We booked for Sunday lunch to celebrate my aunt's 90th birthday, which we mentioned with our booking, and on arrival. Although the food was excellent we were disappointed that no effort at all was made to acknowledge her 90th Birthday. Also the service was not top rate, the waiter trying to clear our plates before we had finished our main course.
