Boasting a showering of local awards, Alderley Edge Hotel is home to two of Cheshire’s finest eateries. With an impressive 3 AA Rosettes, The Alderley Restaurant offers refined fine dining, whilst the Brasserie serves up great British dishes with a modern twist.

Sophisticated flavour combinations are offered in the sublime 7-course tasting menu, with masterful creations including pigeon with sloe gin gel and walnuts, or whisky cured smoked salmon with potted brown shrimp. Retro recipes are served up in the brasserie, with its striking black, white and red décor offering a backdrop to its informal ambience.

An inventive dessert menu at Alderley Edge Hotel includes a smooth melting ginger fondant with rhubarb & custard ice cream, or iced caramel parfait with tangerine textures. An extensive wine list is expertly compiled, and showcases some of the most luxurious vintages on the market today.

An offshoot of the more formal Alderley Edge Restaurant, The Brasserie features bold red benches, eclectic prints and a sweeping stool-lined bar. Expect comfort food favourites, like succulent steaks or chicken chasseur. The well-stocked bar showcases a plethora of world wines, as well as cooling modern cocktail mixes.

From the elegant dining room at Alderley Edge restaurant, guests can look out onto panoramic views of the Cheshire plain. Alderley Edge Rail Station is a 2-minute drive away.

We had dinner and selected the 5 course tasting menu. It was unusual, interesting but very tasty! Would definitely recommend eating there.

Excellent service by the regular staff and a varied and very tasty set luncheon menu. My wife's requirement for dairy-free dishes was ably catered for. We much appreciated the discount of 25% offered on the food to regular customers returning in January.
We just hope the the threatened "refurbishment" does not damage the charming ambience of the dining room.

We had an amazing experience! The service was excellent and we were well looked after. The rabbit was exceptional as were the venison and Hake. The only negative we both picked up on was the decor which we felt was a bit dated and tired but everything was clean and neat and well kept.

Being used to eating in France where we live, we really miss not being brought some bread to eat with the entrée in particular. We asked for bread, and after a long time (by which time we had finished the entrée) three nice rolls arrived. Why did it take so long to produce some rolls (they don't need to be warmed), and why can't they just come automatically? Apart from that, it was a lovely meal.

The food was fantastic....first class! We had the 7 course tasting menu which I would recommend. Shame about the decor....desperately in need of an update.
