Attentive service, great price, average food: to much cheaper ingredients and not enough distinctive spices. Had to remind about discount.

Great place for large groups, we had 34 people dining at Aladin and the evening was very enjoyable. Lots of vegetarian and meat options, it was served at a good pace and the portion size's were so big. Delicious meal, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you have a large groups and need a good value dinner out, this is the place!

Nice food but the customer service was appalling I was embarrassed to of taken my friends (who I'm staying with here in London from Australia) to this resturant. We weren't able to order entrees while we chose our mains and we were rushed out. Not to mention how rude the abrupt the waiters were especially a man in a blue shirt - disgraceful. I am very upset about this experience. At the end, I have my cars on the table to pay and the guy snatched my card out of my hands and didn't even ask what account just did what he wanted and when it got declined he goes 'oh I should of asked you first'.

We arrived in high spirits, ready to celebrate two birthdays, having heard good things about Saladin from their website.
We were sat on a table on the basment of the restaurant, wedged in the corner at the back.
The decor is pretty dated and the whole place felt like it needed a good scrub! Especially the ladies toilets.
Ordering was very abrupt and there seemed to be pressure to turn the tables over and generally just get us in turn out.
We ordered a mixed started per person and it came on individual plates. No complaints with the starter it was delicious! Although £1 per poppadom was just silly. Surely an "award winning restaurant" should offer such things as complimentary.
The mains were a bit of a joke. It was so reducululoisy expensive. £11.95 for a curry and then you had to pay for a rice to accompany it!
We had four different curries and whist they were tasty they were not worth that money.
Our order was quite big and we decided to take our food away. We asked politely if we could take our food away and in my experience of dining in any restaurant, normal procedure is for the server to take the food from us, wrap it and return it to us.
Instead the waiter brought several containers from the kitchen and dumped and I mean literally threw them in the middle of the table on top of the food!
We were in shock but by this point the era no return for the appalling service we had received.
Before we had a chance to even pack the food there was a bill sat down on our table. We hadn't even been asked if we'd have liked anything else. There was just an assumption and we were made to feel again like we needed to pay and get out.
