It was fabulous. We all enjoyed the experience and the food was amazing. The staff were lovely and even took photos of us all. The restaurant was beautiful. The choice of different teas is huge and we all chose a different one, so there were all kinds to suit everyone. Would recommend it to anyone.

Dainty afternoon tea offerings on the The Waldorf menu include assortments of finger sandwiches, homemade pastries and delicious tea party-style cakes. It was really lovely and the staff were very friendly and courteous. We were made to feel special. The room itself with the harpist playing was beautiful. I would definatley recommend it. The tea, cakes and sandwiches were all very tasty. A great experience and just as good as the Ritz!!

It was good, not excellent but good. Service was very slow.

A friend who has emigrated to Canada was visiting London and I booked Afternoon Tea at The Waldorf as a treat for us both and an opportunity to catch up on all our news. We had a lovely tea, complete with a glass of champagne. The sandwiches were fresh, the scones light and fluffy, the cakes and pastries delicately assembled and all was accompanied by as much tea as you could drink and a beautiful harpist playing classical music. The service was attentive but not over bearing and we were not rushed in any way - in fact we were there for almost three hours!!
My only criticism is in regard to the peripheral details - corners of the dining room had luggage and other varied items seemingly just "left there" and the toilets were not as pristine as one might have expected. A little more attention to detail would have made it a perfect experience.

Very welcoming, staff friendly and chatty. Attention to detail was very good and staff were helpful in their service. Harpist played in the restaurant which added to the ambience of the afternoon. We arrived a little early and went into the bar area for a drink, staff here were also very friendly and welcoming with a high level of service.
