Experience the truly British tradition of afternoon tea at one of London's most famous hotels, The Waldorf Hilton. Dine within historic and elegant surroundings, complete with original chandeliers and ionic pillars inspired by the grand cafés of Europe.

Unwind with a glass of champagne and choose from a selection of 13 fine loose leaf teas, including the signature 'Waldorf Tribute' blend that was created by Twinings exclusively for, and only found at, The Waldorf Hilton.

Savour a selection of finely cut sandwiches, warm freshly baked scones and delicate pastries that change seasonally and are beautifully served on a 3-tiered stand made of Royal Crown Derby fine bone china. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday live entertainment is provided by the resident harpist.

Boasting a showbiz clientele, Afternoon Tea at The Waldorf London is the epitome of chic. Covent Garden Tube Station is 6 minutes’ walk away.

Had to ask several times for the vegetarian option, and the sandwiches for both the vegetarian and meat options weren't that wow. However, they vastly made up for this in the scones, cakes and champagne! The cakes were all light as air and delicious, and I would happily have traded my sandwiches for more of them! A really lovely day out overall and wonderful service.

Lovely room. Very tasty food which was well-presented in tiered tray. Staff attentive and polite.

This was a lovely afternoon with friends catching up over afternoon tea.
The hotel looked lovely and staff were courteous.
The food tasted great and there was so much we took some home!
Our waiter was very attentive. They could do with an extra member of staff to help because it was very busy.
The room was nicely decorated although thete wasn't any natural light which made the room a little dark.
A lovely afternoon that I fully recommend.

We took advantage of the special offer from Bookatable and five of us went there for early afternoon tea on a Sunday. The table that was reserved for us was ideal and allowed us pleant of room. The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea with a glass of champagne was priced at £49.99 as the standard but the special deal was for £25 per person. The food was delivered on tiered stands with three layers. The top layer was laid with a variety of cakes, with the second layer/plate with a small variety of sandwiches and the bottom layer with scones, jam and cream. There was a choice of different teas, and the obvious choice was the Waldorf special blend; it tasted wonderful! All in all it was a great experience and everyone in our small party were pleased to have been included. One small thing....... we could have done with a few more sandwiches as they were very small and crustless. However, the rest was fine. In summary, it was a lovely venue and an enjoyable experience, with an acceptable price!

my opinion is it was ok. The service was minimal but staff were very pleasant, it was just a bit sparse on the sandwich side of things, cakes were ok. Must say I have had a lot better. For what we paid it was ok, but wouldn't go there again.
