Lovely afternoon tea especially with the harpist playing in the background. We were unable to eat everything so the remaining cakes were boxed up for us to take home.

Very traditional and elegant hotel. The tea room was wonderful, with mirrors and palms and a very beautiful Welsh harp played while we ate our very delicious tea , that consisted of finger sandwiches, delicately cut. A bottle of prosecco! The scones were heavenly, the selection of cakes was generous and had a Christmas theme, which was very nice. The tea, Assam , was hot and flavourful, served by very friendly and polite staff with a good sense of humour.

Very good value afternoon tea in lovely surroundings. Greeting was very good, however it took a long time for us to be served but once we were it was faultless

The service was very friendly polite and professional. All tableware was exceptionally clean and the crockery very appealing. The finger sandwiches were tasty, and just the right portion, any more would have spoilt the appetite for the scones and cakes. Both scones and cakes were beautifully presented and fresh tasting. So often the scones especially can be somewhat stale. There was a nice selection of teas available to accompany the food. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.
