Wonderful a very special experience. On arrival the doorman who greeted us was very helpful, charming and made us feel very special. The waiters were very attentive. Only suggestion is that they be conscious of the need to have a clean plate if the pate becomes a little messy. For example covered in chocolate and little gold coloured doilies before eating the scones. The waiter who came round with the trolley to offer a slice of cake was also charming and used humour ever so slightly which was endearing and added to the experience.

We were all very surprised to discover how much of a wonderful experience it was.

Took my Mum as a 79th Birthday Treat along with my daughter. Very well looked after from beginning to end. Food was lovely, hot scones with jam and clotted cream delightful, fresh sandwiches and numerous other cakes. Lovely way to spend a Sunday Afternoon. Could not eat all that was on offer and would have loved to have taken what was left home but that did not seem to be an option

Beautiful location, wonderful environment let down by a few surly staff.
Clearer indications of menu, timings and relaxation of the ladies dress code would have helped to enjoy the day.
This was a homogenised tourist version of "Tea at the Ritz" as I remember it, but still with a hefty price tag.
