Wonderful service from start to finish. Elegant and charming surroundings. Lovely food. Can't fault it.

It was lovely. The staff were helpful and attentive. The pace was leisurely and the food delicious. The scones, though small, were warm and soft and everything was in plentiful supply.

Thank you for a great afternoon tea experience! Every staff was very kind and welcoming. The food and tea was very delicious. We stayed at the hotel 20 years ago and when we told about it to the concierge at the clerk, he gave us information about the sheep makers. We weren't able to finish all of the food but we were able to take it home in a book. The food we took home wasn't that much so it was shaken inside the box which kind of ruined the looks of it when we open the box to eat it later. But other than that, the whole experience was very satisfying.

Great lounge - overprice regarding the food. Selection of tee is not known by all servers.
(Scones ordinary and desserts not on the top), Sandwiches really good.

Delicious Smoked Salmon sandwiches and lovely pink champagne.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and experience of tea at The Goring - it was very relaxing. However, we were offered water and, although we said yes, we had to ask three times before it appeared. We thought the sandwiches were excellent (although the cauliflower was not our favourite), as were the scones, but we were a little disappointed with the cakes.
