I have experienced quite a few London afternoon teas and this was my least favourite. The price was good but the value was average. The choice of cocktails was limited to two and we chose the bellini which was lacking in any fizz. There is no point offering a cocktail if you water it down. I was asked if I would like more sandwiches and I said I would like another cheese scone and was told that I would be charged extra for that. I declined the offer and was bought more sandwiches snd a scone anyway. The food was ok if a little sparse which is probably my overall view of the experience. I chose this afternoon as it fitted my location, but I would be happy to travel a little further snd pay more for a proper afternoon tea.

This afternoon tea was amazing. The mini cheese scones (served warm) were so tasty we had to order another round! The sandwiches were all made from different bread and as for the scones! Add this to this the free flowing cocktails and you have an afternoon made in heaven.

Wonderful afternoon tea! Went on Easter for their "free flowing tea" and it really hit the spot. Portions were on the smaller side, but everything was delicious.

My friend and I visited the Capital for afternoon tea, I had phoned to let them know that my friend has a nut allergy. I was very happy to see that once we were seated they checked with us regarding my friends nut allergy and when the sweet section came out, they had catered for her. The room we sat in was very cozy and quaint, and the staff were very attentive. We had a very pleasant time there.

A lovely afternoon tea with free flowing cocktails. Service was friendly but not overbearing. A delicious selection of small cakes and teas. The cheese scones were divine! A perfect place for meeting friends for a good catch-up. Good value for money.

It was a great experience and good value for many. There is plenty of food and you will not leave hungry. Sandwiches and scones were delicious. I didn't like free flowing cocktails as there were either pre prepared or just just off. Bellini was really flat and no bubbles. Cosmo was a bit too sweet for my liking. Hardly any alcohol in them. Tea was great and service attentive but far too serious for the experience. The girl at the end was very friendly and chatty. The guy throughout the experience far too serious but overall good service. Also do not be mislead that the afternoon tea is served in the room showed in the picture. Room is pleasent but nowhere near as glamour as per picture. There are only few tables in the room we were served and the window view was obstruct by scaffolding. Overall we had a good time and I would definitely come back.

The scones and sandwiches were very nice, but the service and the drinks were not up to standard. We stood for a long time to be shown to our table. Lots of staff saw us, walked pass us and ignored us! We had a small cramped table and yet the staff will not clear the glasses when we finish our cocktails. They have to be told to take things away. The free flowing cocktails were so diluted I don't think it had any alcohol in it. Don't bother with free flowing "cocktails" if you can't afford it!
