From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed! We took tea in a beautifully, traditionally decorated, intimate room with a large window overlooking Basil Street. The three course tea included a variety of savory sandwiches, four delicious sweets, plus scrumptious scones, complete with clotted cream and strawberry jam! The young girl serving us was gracious and darling, refilling our tea pots and sharing in our conversations. We could have stayed and talked to her all day! Before leaving, Guillaume, kindly took us on a tour of the hotel. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, exceeding our expectations!

Beautiful High Tea. Loved that we had a private dining room. Catered well for the children. Thoroughly recommend. Impeccable service.

A lovely setting right in the middle of London. The tea was perfect themed around Xmas very unusual and delicious. Staff were very friendly.

It was a rubbish experience. There was no ambience in the place. We sat upstairs in a small room. The food was not enough. The service was rubbish and the tea was cold.

In spite of our firm booking we had to wait for 30 min. We were subsequently offered a complimentary drink but this is not the point. The quality of food (afternoon tea) was not up to our expectations and poor in relation to the price.

The tables remained uncleared far too long after guests had left. The table next to us remained uncleared with no guests the whole duration of our stay.

The location was everything but elegant and smart. The food was the most common food available in a cafe' of the Suburban London . The staff service was cheap and not at high standards. I rather would spend £20 more and go to the Ritz hotel where you can experience a very exclusive and magic atmosphere.

The food and pastries were OK and the surrounding OK. Website makes it look better than it is. Service by staff was lovely.
