With 15 types of tea from The Rare Tea Company on offer, Festive Afternoon Tea at The Bloomsbury Hotel is both traditional and extravagant. Amidst the leafy Georgian squares of Bloomsbury, The Grade II-listed Bloomsbury Hotel is a fittingly elegant location for an exquisite afternoon tea experience.

The Bloomsbury Hotel Afternoon Tea offers a vast range of teas, alongside sandwiches and freshly baked scones and cakes. Sandwiches include pastrami, rocket, and Dijon mayonnaise on onion bread, smoked salmon with crème fraiche on Guinness bread, and cream cheese, chive and cucumber on tomato bread. Follow this with a freshly baked scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and choose from the selection of sweet treats including lemon meringue and Victoria sponge.

For extra indulgence, add some English sparkling wine from Sussex’s Ridgeview vineyard. The surroundings are timelessly sophisticated, with rich red furnishings and elegant chandeliers throughout the hotel.

Close to The British Museum and the West End, The Bloomsbury Hotel in London is a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube Station.

Very good service on the Dalloway Terrace! The tea was delicious. Not much cream for four scones between two people though! A very small dish I've gotten as single serving in other locations. Also the sandwiches were a bit ho hum.. although the salmon one was delicious. For the price, more cream and better/a few more sandwiches.

Disappointing. I had booked online and called the venue in advance to request to sit on the festive themed terrace for a Christmas celebration with one of my important clients. Due to a private event we were unable to sit on the terrace which was a shame as this was the main reason we had chosen to come to The Bloomsbury.

The afternoon tea itself was very average and definitely not the standard I expected from a top London hotel. I regularly take clients out for meals and treats in the city and I would not come back here or recommend to any of my colleagues

This was a really nice experience. The Bloomsbury was a beautiful place and the staff was friendly. The tea and food was quality stuff, allthough some flavours were a bit british for our palette. The scones were amazing.

Lovely afternoon tea in cosy surroundings. Did 5pm sitting, which was ideal. Excellent service, would certainly go back again!

Lovely afternoon with friends, had afternoon tea before going to the Dominion Theatre which was just around the corner. Could not fault the food and service we received - lovely atmosphere in hotel.

I booked an afternoon tea for my daughter and two of her friends for her 18th birthday, they loved it. The food and service was of an exceptional standard. The staff even sang happy birthday to her and gave her a small birthday cake. Good value for money
