I would like to say the afternoon tea was lovely, but the service was not what I would have expected or have experienced in the past. We received our afternoon tea but they forgot the sandwiches, then on prompting the sandwiches arrived but had to ask a manageress to locate our tea as it hadn't arrived. Like I say the afternoon tea - especially the scones were great but definitely more work required on the service.

My wife and I had an Afternoon Tea which was a gift for our birthdays. The Afternoon Tea itself was very enjoyable with a good and tasty selection of finger sandwiches and cakes. The room itself was very relaxed with a very pleasant feel and the waiters and waitresses were attentive without being overbearing.
One minor critisism was that the sandwiches given had different fillings to those shown on the menu and whilst this was not a problem for us it may be for others.
Overall though a very enjoyable experience

We very much enjoyed our afternoon tea experience. The staff were very helpful and explained everything and I love the ambience of the place. I actually remember it being a park with animals, lake and train.
We did struggle to find a parking spot and there didn't appear to be any disabled spots which we needed and unfortunately I didn't think to ask before we went.

Afternoon tea to celebrate our daughters 21st. What a wonderful location and setting for a very special family celebration. The tea was delightful (although I have to be honest I have tasted better sandwiches). The scones and cakes made all the difference. There was ample to go round our party of 5. The service was prompt, polite and not intrusive. The addition of the piano music coming in from the hall, added to the overall charm of the drawing room. The public rooms are amazing, a little taste of luxury. A big thank you for the added touches for the birthday girl from card to chocolates.
I look forward to any excuse to visit again.

Stapleford Park is a stunning location to enjoy afternoon tea, staff were polite and curteous.
The tea itself was delicious especially the scones and patisserie, all appeared to be freshly homemade.
A few points to be noted, the bread was quite dry, there was not enough cream provided for the amount of scones given and we had to summon staff to have our teapots refreshed, there was no one actively asking guests if they were alright or required anything else.
A little bit of calm back ground music would of been nice as well just to soften the atmosphere.
But overall it was a lovely experience and I would recommend it as a treat.

We visited for afternoon tea. After being shown to our seats we were told we would need to be patient as there was a big function going on and so our food would be running late. Our food arrived 40 minutes later. We were served rock hard, burnt, crunchy scones. We asked for replacements and when the new ones were bought out we were told the chef burnt the previous batch. The new ones were just as bad. Very disappointing that a third of the food was inedible. From the price of the tea you would expect much better - the scones should never have been served. We visited to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Now all we will remember is the poor experience we had. It's safe to say that you definitely don't always get what you pay for!!

What a lovely afternoon tea! Super service from staff in the tea room and the bar. Beautifully presented and, surprisingly filling tea! We had the window seats which were delightful on the hottest day of the year. In the company of my daughters it was near perfect.
