Delicious afternoon tea, nothing is too much trouble the staff are attentitive continually asking if you require more tea or sandwiches. Service is excellent.

We had a wonderful time at Stapleford Park, the house itself is beautiful. We had an Afternoon tea and were very well looked after , the food was lovely and we were asked several times if we needed refills for tea or sandwiches. All the food was delicious, although we did have a mix up with the vegetarian in our party getting ham sandwiches and the lady in our party with an egg allergy had macaroons. The scones were delicious and also the small cakes/pastries. For me personally maybe more variety in the sandwich fillings, but overall we had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome, we came for my mums 70th birthday and she was so pleased with the card (handwritten) and the chocolates, a lovely touch.

The whole afternoon tea experience at Stapleford Park was excellent. The beautiful room had fabulous furnishings and the chairs were very comfy. The service throughout was perfect; we got attention when we wanted it and were left alone when we did not. The food was scrumptious, our party's particular favourite was the chocolate pistachio tower. I had booked this as a Birthday present for my friend and the additional touches that were added because of the celebration were well received. I would love to go back again soon.

Sandwiches are always lovely and fresh with the exception of the odd piece of dry bread, scones are served warm, and the cakes are always beautiful and there's plenty of variety. Lovely surroundings!

VERY DISAPPOINTING - MY WIFE AND I VISITED TO ENJOY A CHAMPAGNE TEA (£73) GIVEN TO US AS A GIFT TO CELEBRATE OUR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. ON ARRIVAL WE EACH HAD A GIN AND TONIC IN THE LIBRARY BEFORE GOING IN FOR OUR 'TEA' . WE WERE TAKEN TO OUR TABLE AND ASKED TO CHOOSE A TEA OR COFFEE, WHICH WE DID. THE COFFEE DULY ARRIVED AND WE HAD TO ASK FOR A CUP AS THERE WAS ONLY ONE ON THE TABLE. I THEN HAD TO REMIND THEM THAT CHAMPAGNE HAD BEEN INCLUDED SO THEY WENT OFF AND WE WERE GIVEN THE CHAMPAGNE. ALL FOOD AND DRINKS WERE FINE EXCEPT THAT BY THE TIME WE HAD DRUNK THE CHAMPAGNE THE COFFEE WAS JUST WARM AS IT HAD COME AT THE START OF OUR TEA.
AS WE HAD HAD A PRE TEA DRINK THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN OUR GIFT I WENT TO THE BAR TO PAY FOR OUR GIN AND TONICS - 2 X £8.80 = £17.60. THE GIRL BEHIND THE BAR PRINTED OUR BILL AND IT CAME TO £26.66. I INDICATED THAT THE BILL SEEMED RATHER COMPLICATED TO ARRIVE AT THAT AMOUNT AND SHE SAID IT WOULD BE SELF EXPLANATORY. ON GETTING TO MY CAR AND SPECTACLES I STUDIED THE BILL A LOT CLOSER AND COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SHE HAD ARRIVED AT £26.66 FOR 2 GIN AND TONICS. I RETURNED TO THE RECEPTION AND ASKED SOMEONE THERE TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME. THEY TOOK THE BILL AWAY FOR A FEW MINUTES AND RETURNED WITH £9.06 AND SAID SORRY ABOUT THAT. ALL IN ALL AN UNEDIFYING EXPERIENCE ONE THAT WILL NOT BE REPEATED.

Beautiful rooms where the afternoon tea was served . Gorgeous flower arrangements. Super attentive service and a lovely decadent hush about the room . The afternoon tea was beautifully served in a traditional manor and all freshly prepared. The afternoon seemed effortless and the staff were welcoming. We enjoyed an afternoon tea after using the spa and pool, & would like to give feedback on the spa too

I would like to say the afternoon tea was lovely, but the service was not what I would have expected or have experienced in the past. We received our afternoon tea but they forgot the sandwiches, then on prompting the sandwiches arrived but had to ask a manageress to locate our tea as it hadn't arrived. Like I say the afternoon tea - especially the scones were great but definitely more work required on the service.

My wife and I had an Afternoon Tea which was a gift for our birthdays. The Afternoon Tea itself was very enjoyable with a good and tasty selection of finger sandwiches and cakes. The room itself was very relaxed with a very pleasant feel and the waiters and waitresses were attentive without being overbearing.
One minor critisism was that the sandwiches given had different fillings to those shown on the menu and whilst this was not a problem for us it may be for others.
Overall though a very enjoyable experience

We very much enjoyed our afternoon tea experience. The staff were very helpful and explained everything and I love the ambience of the place. I actually remember it being a park with animals, lake and train.
We did struggle to find a parking spot and there didn't appear to be any disabled spots which we needed and unfortunately I didn't think to ask before we went.

Afternoon tea to celebrate our daughters 21st. What a wonderful location and setting for a very special family celebration. The tea was delightful (although I have to be honest I have tasted better sandwiches). The scones and cakes made all the difference. There was ample to go round our party of 5. The service was prompt, polite and not intrusive. The addition of the piano music coming in from the hall, added to the overall charm of the drawing room. The public rooms are amazing, a little taste of luxury. A big thank you for the added touches for the birthday girl from card to chocolates.
I look forward to any excuse to visit again.
