Went for Afternoon Tea, the service and food were very good. On Bookatable it stated the upgrade with had a 25% discount included Prosecco but was very surprised when served Champagne.

    Dreadful.

Pleasant enough place but very slow service and a lot of confusion about what the 25% discount meant. When requesting more tea were advised that any extras would be chargeable then kept us waiting a further 10 mins before it was forthcoming. Have never experienced any other establishment that refused anything "extra" be it food or drink. The tea was a birthday present for 2 friends so did not want to make a fuss but will never bother with that place again. They also had the nerve to charge £20+ for service.

The food was lovely, but unfortunately the service wasn't great. We waited over three quarters of an hour for our food and had to ask for things several times before they came.

What a lovely experience. The food was super, the staff wonderful. The attention to detail was superb. Had a super table at the window which was splendid. Can't say enough about the experience. Will certainly be back. Perfect birthday treat for my friend.

It was the worst tea I have ever had (& my niece & I are frequent afternoon tea goers). The sandwiches were cold (as obviously just come out of the fridge) , poor quality & not the range as advertised. The scones were also not fresh (or even warm) the cream was cold it was difficult to get it out of the container. In addition, they were preparing for an event so there were tables/settees /chairs being moved around us constantly so it was like sitting in a removal firm. Nothing was fresh other than the tea! A big disappointment.

This was a rather disappointing afternoon tea, it was expensive and uninspiring; £39 fonly 4 dry finger sandwiches, a glass of champagne and a small selection of sickly cakes. Service was friendly, but slow, and there was little atmosphere.
