Impressed about the savory ones as it's rare to find afternoon tea pays such attention to the non-sweet parts. Nice environment, great service team and the introduction on tea blends was very good too.

The best place for afternoon tea in London- it's ruined me for all other afternoon tea places! It has the whole package- lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious and beautiful food with ever-changing and creative themes, no rush to leave your table, gorgeous selection of teas, scones served warm, refills on the food (if you can manage any extra!)... this time was no exception. I'm already looking into booking my next visit in a few months' time!

Food was delicious and inventive. Particularly liked the sandwiches and savouries plus the White Forest Gateau. Lovely setting although not being able to get our legs under the table was slightly uncomfortable. The service was very good with one exception. They were very clear when we booked that they would need the table back after 90 mins, however it took 20 minutes to bring any food out and we therefore were still eating after 105. Being presented with the bill after not asking for it and then the credit card machine whilst still eating when the restaurant was nearly empty did feel unnecessary. The last pots of tea were also very weak as topped up with hot water, possibly another indication that our time was up! I would recommend it if you are fast eaters and not looking to linger - but for this price (even with the special offer we used) there are places that will let you take your time.
