Great food and good service but left in the dark! Had afternoon tea a number of times here as I love the free flowing deal but they sat us in part of the restaurant that has little or no lighting so really felt like I was sitting in the dark, also the table was too small for three people. Real shame as I loved this place ??

I booked this as a Valentine's treat for my wife. I was expecting a nice afternoon tea but was pleasantly surprised with the presence of a live Harpist (I guess this is only for Valentine's Day and special occasions). Nice selection of tea though the Oolong I asked for was not available at the time, I took the recommendation of another type of Oolong, It was light and refreshing, My wife went for the passion fruit tea, which one could smell even when you just start pouring into the cup. The salmon and creme fraiche baguette was tasty and equally so the beef with horseradish sauce in a brioche bun. The dessert cakes were intricately signed and by the time we were having them, we were getting full.Just over £80 including service charge for 2 people, as a Valentine's Day treat, I think this was good value for money.

Excellent sandwiches and cakes. Plenty of well presented food. A great experience. Have been here many times before for the free flowing champagne but this time the champagne was not as free flowing as it used to be. Very slow on the refill unfortunately.
