    Very good.

Service is very good. We ordered from the Al la carte menu as we wanted to take advantage of the taste card.
Starters were lovely. Our dessert of rhubarb crumble was delicious although the custard was luke warm.
Our main issue was our mains. Mine had enough sweet potato dumped on the plate to feed the entire restaurant and presentation seemed pretty lazy. My boyfriend had a strange sauce atop his chicken which he had to scrape off and inedible beans (dry and tasteless)
Overall it was a decidedly underwhelming experience

An early meal because we'd been travelling, the restaurant wasn't busy but there was a relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere with subtle lighting and the street outside to watch through floor-to-ceiling windows. Tables are set far enough apart with leather seating; lovely contemporary cutlery! Understated and friendly service though we had to ask for the set menu we knew existed. Superb food, if slightly light on vegetables, probably available as sides but not offered. Gorgeous wine, fabulous panna cotta! Extremely pleasant. Recommended.
