Made to feel welcome. Couldn't do enough for us. Starters were great and the chicken we had for mains was cooked to perfection. Three course meal, bottle of prosecco, champagne cocktail and bottle of peroni for just over £60. Will definitely be back.

Serving fresh, authentic Italian cuisine since 1978, A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro brings a slice of continental life to Glasgow city centre. Just across from the King’s Theatre, the restaurant is the ideal place for a pre-theatre meal, and hosts live music at the weekend.

On the Ristorante Teatro menu, freshness and Italian authenticity are both treated importantly. Ingredients are locally sourced, with key items imported directly from Italy, giving diners the best of both worlds. From antipasto platters perfect for sharing, there is also a selection of fresh pasta dishes, fresh Scottish beef, and vegetarian options. If there is a desired dish that does not feature on the menu, the chefs will do their best to prepare it. All items on the menu – from bread to desserts – are made freshly in the restaurant each day.

As well as a selection of Italian and international wines, Ristorante Teatro Glasgow also mixes up a range of bold cocktails, and serves beers and fine spirits.

A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro is just 3 minutes’ walk from Charing Cross (Glasgow) Rail Station, and a 7-minute walk from Buchanan Street Station.

From start to finish, this place is perfect. As an Italian citizen born in the UK, I long for restaurants that have that true Italian feel that I get in my grandparents rural village in southern Italy. This place has it. Perfect food and lovely staff who really took to my wee daughter in that way that I expect when in the old country but see very little in the UK. If you're visiting Glasgow and want an authentic Italian experience then you won't go wrong here. I will definitely be back

Lovely cosy Italian restaurant. Delicious food and great service. Value for money on pre theatre menu. The Pollo ala Pepe is delicious with rosemary potatoes. This is my favourite.
