Serving fresh, authentic Italian cuisine since 1978, A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro brings a slice of continental life to Glasgow city centre. Just across from the King’s Theatre, the restaurant is the ideal place for a pre-theatre meal, and hosts live music at the weekend.

On the Ristorante Teatro menu, freshness and Italian authenticity are both treated importantly. Ingredients are locally sourced, with key items imported directly from Italy, giving diners the best of both worlds. From antipasto platters perfect for sharing, there is also a selection of fresh pasta dishes, fresh Scottish beef, and vegetarian options. If there is a desired dish that does not feature on the menu, the chefs will do their best to prepare it. All items on the menu – from bread to desserts are made freshly in the restaurant each day.

As well as a selection of Italian and international wines, Ristorante Teatro Glasgow also mixes up a range of bold cocktails, and serves beers and fine spirits.

A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro is just 3 minutes’ walk from Charing Cross (Glasgow) Rail Station, and a 7-minute walk from Buchanan Street Station.

Not good experience. Actually booked this by mistake but thought would give it a go. Service was nice and friendly but Place was tiny, overcrowded, not good atmosphere. Practically sitting on your neighbours knee eating dinner. Food dreadful. They did take worst pizza ever off the bill which was something.

Food was lovely although I think they need to serve their homemade pate without Branston pickle!! maybe a nice chilli chutney instead the pate itself was lovely, both pasta dishes we had were lovely too, although plates were cold. Nice wine and the £29 special deal is great. Friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant is very small and was busy on Saturday 11/02. we were stuck behind a pillar which wasn't ideal think they should think of better use of that space instead of putting diners there!

Great atmosphere in the cosy restaurant. Italian sausage penne was amazing. Value for money was good.
Will rebook and return for sure. Busy so be sure to book if going before 7pm.

An excellent evening, food authentic Italian and magnificent, service very good. My only slight criticism would be some tables very close together.
