Serving fresh, authentic Italian cuisine since 1978, A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro brings a slice of continental life to Glasgow city centre. Just across from the King’s Theatre, the restaurant is the ideal place for a pre-theatre meal, and hosts live music at the weekend.

On the Ristorante Teatro menu, freshness and Italian authenticity are both treated importantly. Ingredients are locally sourced, with key items imported directly from Italy, giving diners the best of both worlds. From antipasto platters perfect for sharing, there is also a selection of fresh pasta dishes, fresh Scottish beef, and vegetarian options. If there is a desired dish that does not feature on the menu, the chefs will do their best to prepare it. All items on the menu – from bread to desserts – are made freshly in the restaurant each day.

As well as a selection of Italian and international wines, Ristorante Teatro Glasgow also mixes up a range of bold cocktails, and serves beers and fine spirits.

A Little Taste of Italy Ristorante Teatro is just 3 minutes’ walk from Charing Cross (Glasgow) Rail Station, and a 7-minute walk from Buchanan Street Station.

An excellent evening, food authentic Italian and magnificent, service very good. My only slight criticism would be some tables very close together.

Lovely intimate restaurant. Good range of types of meals in the menu, authentically Italian. Staff are excellent, knowledgable and attentive. Ideal for a pre-theatre treat.

Booked for 5-30 after show at theatre , went in few minutes before this restaurant was quiet , shown to a nice corner seat, 0rderd from pre theatre menu although 3 courses wasn't exactly cheap at £20 but I did enjoy the food , service charge of 10per cent added on which is a bit strange but overall it's a nice small intimate restaurant and I would go back

The restaurant is not a comfortable space to eat in and is too cramped. This is a shame as the food was great and the staff attentive. The kids menu is overpriced but the pretheatre is good value. Loved the guitarist but the eating experience is too squashed.
