A little restaurant with a great reputation, 2 Veneti in Marylebone brings the very best Venetian and Italian food to London. Praised repeatedly by Michael Winner, 2 Veneti’s fine pastas are complemented by excellent seafood dishes and the owners’ carefully chosen Italian wine list.

An understated, elegant ristorante with real warmth, the 2 Veneti menu concentrates on the cuisine of Venice, home of owners Simon and Stephan. Among the local specialities, begin with gratin of sea scallops with Venetian salami and breadcrumbs.

Try calamari, red mullet, crab and prawns served Venetian style in the fritto misto Venexian, or veal ossobuco with saffron risotto. Different recommended dishes appear each week, and delicious whipped-to-order tiramisu, Italian ice cream or cheeses make for satisfying conclusions.

With great knowledge of their fine vintages, 2 Veneti display their passion for the perfect combination of Italian food and wine. In the centre of town, 2 Veneti restaurant in London is a 6-minute walk from Bond Street Tube Station.

We enjoyed the meal and the evening very much. Attentive staff and delicious food. I really enjoyed my grilled calf's liver. One friend was slightly disappointed by her tiramisu but otherwise everyone was impressed with all the dishes.

Superb food and wine. Great, friendly service. We had a warm welcome, and sat in a quiet corner as requested. We had been for lunch before, and it was equally good for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
