Within the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel close to London Victoria, 2 Bridge Place is a contemporary restaurant serving European cuisine. The 2 Bridge Place restaurant features a chic wine bar, and offers a great children’s menu.
From its central London location, 2 Bridge Place caters for quick business lunches and relaxed evening meals. Intricate choices include gorgonzola and walnut stuffed grilled salmon with vermouth sauce, or try the oven baked crab with spring onion and celery.
Juicy steaks on the 2 Bridge Place menu include Chateaubriand for two, while an oriental influence is found in smoked duck marinated in hoi sin sauce. Great vegetarian options include goat’s cheese pea and mint risotto and chargrilled vegetable lasagne with baby pak choi. Afternoon teas at 2 Bridge Place offer quintessential indulgence.
Soothing green and cherry tones hallmark the plush, lantern-lit dining room. 2 Bridge Place at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel is easy to find, right next to London Victoria Train Station.

We went for the afternoon tea and enjoyed it very much. The tea selections were a good variety and the food provided was very delicious.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was nice and calm. We also enjoyed the fact that there was no pressure to leave. The restaurant decor was fresh and modern. Our guest was pleasantly surprised when she found out that she could re-charge her phone at a nearby socket.
We had an afternoon tea for four. There was enough sandwiches and cakes to fill you up, even though when they first appeared it did not look enough. We ended up bringing some of the macaroons and cakes home afterwards.
In the past we have had an afternoon tea at Claridges and were given a cotton napkin to use. This made us feel special and wealthy, even though we are neither.
The paper napkin was acceptable but you get paper napkins at most restaurants.
Overall we enjoyed our brief stay and I would certainly recommend the restaurant to my family and friends. It being so close to Victoria station makes it an ideal spot to finish your day in London before returning home.

We enjoyed the traditional afternoon tea at a bargain price. It's hard to find anything under 20 British pounds per person, but we enjoyed a variety of teas, crustless little sandwiches, biscuits with cream butter, and bite-size sweets for two for 24 quid. What a deal.
