Remember staying at the hotel before and the atmosphere was lovely in 1901. But it seems to have lost something. Little things line no table clothes etc. Service was ok, food good. Just not as good as it once was.

Enjoy a refined and relaxed breakfast in the well-spaced luxurious setting of the Grade II-listed interior of 1901 Ballroom at the Andaz London. The Original Ballroom of the former Great Eastern Hotel, the 1910 Ballroom features its original stained-glass domed ceiling – one of the only 2 in the UK that survived both World Wars.
The English breakfast buffet features premium local ingredients such as cheeses from Spitalfields market and Loch Fyne smoked salmon, and a large variety of homemade bread and pastries baked every morning. Select your choice of eggs cooked to order or indulge in specialty dishes prepared a la minute, and start your day with freshly squeezed juices, Italian Musetti coffee or a selection of luxury hand-picked Chinese JING teas.

I booked an a la carte breakfast that no longer exists and was faced with potential charge of £28 per person for an all you can eat buffet which I did not want. The website needs to be updated.
