The restaurant itself was decorated beautifully and we were excited for the food options on the menu. There was a 'Business Lunch' menu where it states that the food will be served within 1 hour. We all had to be back at the office for 2pm at the latest so we thought that it sounded good (we booked for 12:30). We ended up have a very long wait between starter and main course and we were actually there for over 2 hours. Service was incredibly slow but the restaurant was not busy at all! We had to ask for the food twice to be told 'it's coming'. When the food arrived, the portions were not very substantial either. The lamb main course was 3 bite sized pieces of lamb - one was cooked well to medium rare but another colleague got his well done but we waited so long he was grateful to have food at all. Probably will only return for drinks in the cocktail area but not for food.

The interior was really beautiful. A relaxed well designed space. The service was extremely poor. Chips arrived as an appetizer well before our chicken Caesar salads, when it should have been a side. The salads took ages and 2 of 3 chickens had pink / were uncooked. We were in a rush so just said we should eat around the raw chicken, but to remove from our bill. We were greeted by a rude manager at the end of our meal who approached the table sayin "i understand you're very angry about your meal" - which felt accusatory and was also wrong. She was reluctant to take both chickens off. She removed one and then gave a "staff discount" for the other. Really unimpressed by the staff. Food was fine.

Food was great, decor and atmosphere really good. Service was a bit slow, had to keep asking for the drink we ordered, only to be told later that it was out of stock, even though it had been recommended to us. Took ages to get the bill, but still a great place to go.

An absolute gem. Great cocktails, exceptional service (accommodating last minute requests and food intolerances with ease and grace) and sublime food all at incredible value. This is a must visit for any local or visitor looking for somewhere full of style and off the beaten track. Highly recommended.

We just went for a few drinks before dinner somewhere else but the service and quality of cocktails was fantastic! It has a very interesting drink list and the bartenders are friendly and good at what they do. Will definitely go back

Lovely Scandinavian-inspired interior and fully fledged British ingredients, the food was incredible here. I had the corn-fed chicken with asparagus, Earl Grey velouté and linguine - tender and flavoursome. But more importantly the chocolate fondant was nailed down to a tee, loved cutting into the pud and dipping the pistachio biscotti in the runny middle. Has to be on your London restaurant hit list!
