Created by award-winning head chef Dean Crews, the 1269 Restaurant menu draws upon the area’s rich livestock heritage, with the Josper grill as a focal point. Signature dishes include Josper-roasted Buccleuch Estate beef, aged for 28 days in the restaurant’s in-house ageing room.

The bar at Crowne Plaza near Beaconsfield features a unique whisky vault with a menu of over 60 whiskies, with regular guests able to leave their own bottles. A glowing Onyx panel creates a unique contemporary setting.

Best roast beef I've had for a long time and the jus was to die for. Sadly, the restaurant was virtually empty; people don't know what they're missing.

Disaster. Arrived and met our friends who had travelled from Hertfordshire to join us for dinner. Ordered aperitifs in the bar. The staff were courteous and welcoming. There seemed to be unruly children running in and out of the restaurant and the noise they were making was beyond acceptable. We spoke to the 'Acting Manager' who said the party had been booked for 20 but 30 turned up of which at least 10 were badly behaved children. There was absolutely no way anyone else would want to eat in the same room and the Manager agreed. He was very apologetic but no-one seemed to have the experience to request that the children sit down and behave. No I shall not recommend this restaurant.
